Star Wars: Chapter Negative 35, Spice Lords of Naboo (Team Not-So Good)

Norlan opened his eyes to see Velmont's smiling face for a second before Velmont went on to release the others.

"Could I at least gotten a chance to get some sleep?" he mumbled as he wandered out of his cell. He took a second to wake up.

"Eh! What do you know. The damn thing still worked even after all," said Velmont "Ya'll did miss the show Mixari put on for the guard though. I didn't get to see much, but I did get to see the poor sap's face when he saw em!"

"More importantly how do we get out of here? I locked the ship up pretty tight. I figure they'll work on slicing the terminal before they need us." He walked towards the entrance and took a lookout position.

Stretching, George stepped out of his cell. "Ho-ly Hell," he said, looking at the guard, "You certainly did a number on him." George nudged the man with his foot. "He's not dead, is he?" George nudged him again, and the guard let out a low groan. "Guess not. So what are we gonna do with him?"

Liflo smiled when his door opened. “Well that was easy enough, though that guard did almost give me a heart attack.”

"Ya'll did miss the show Mixari put on for the guard though. I didn't get to see much, but I did get to see the poor sap's face when he saw em!" Liflo smiled at that thought again. He wished that he have seen the man's face, or even better see what he saw.

“Mixari that was quick and ingenious thinking on your part. But now we need to find out where they put the droid and how we are going to get out of here. The ship is most likely out of the question so we most likely will need to blend in with the locals and lay low until we can get a ship out of “Paradise””

"I really don't know whats the idea, but we needs to find out were everything is." He looked over at the unconscious guard. "We either wake sleepin beauty and ask him questions, find someone else to ask questions to or We go the risky route and just start searchin randomly."

He walked over to the guard and crouched and then started to undress him.

"We need someone to dress up as a security official ya know, it will help with trouble we might deal with. I'd say one of you taller folk should wear it, it would look rather ridiculous on me." He said with a chuckle, and then went back to work on removing the cloths, starting with his shirt then pants. "Whoever wears it we best be tieing him up with the prison garbs left over after, and use something to muzzle him with so he wont be warnin much when he comes too. Though they'll be noticing mine and Miraxi's doors if we can't figure out a way to shut them."

He finished undressing the guy then stood up, holding the shirt, pants and boots up.

"So, which one of ya'll gets to be the guard?" He asked with a wide smile.

Looking around at everyone else Liflo knew that he would need to be the one to do this. “I can be the guard, since I can play the role pretty convincingly.” He took the cloths and went back to one of the cells to dress into his role. After quickly dressing he came out and said “How do I look, does it make me look fat.” He laughed a little at that.

“So anyway did the guard have any identification or something that would give me a name. Also what should I do head out their and just start snooping around, or maybe lure another guard in here so that we can knock him out and take his stuff as well. I would like some help on something like this.”

"Well, with everythin' that going on we should tie this 'ere fella up." Velmont said as he grabbed the prison cloths Liflo had discarded then procceded to attempt to tie the guard and muffle him so that he wouldn't be shouting anything out. "After that, we should be puttin' him in one of them there cells that still work."

He then looked around at the group with a crooked grin as he thought of something.

"I say we lay a trap for a guard." He said as he looked back down to continue tying him up. "You call one over and say ya need some help with one of us. George'd be the best option, when the sap comes over to help ya, you have him go in that cell first and both of ya attack him. We'll be hiding in another one and come and assist as soon as ya start pounding on him. Then we can grill the bugger for information on our gear and the droid. When I'm done with one of ya mind helpin' me drag this bastard into a cell?"

I'm going to attempt to tie him up with the prisoner cloths, put his arms behind his back and then muffle his mouth. As tight as I possibly can anyways, if it's possible to also tie up his feet but I'm not sure I have enough supplies for that.

Her intuition and natural Zeltron empathic talent telling her that her cohorts were currently thinking up some amazingly stupid ideas for their escape, Mixari decided to take a step back and check around the corner to make sure nothing was coming their way.

What she found, however, was much more interesting.

"Hey guys, you might want to take a look at this," she whispered to the others, pointing down to the different colored lines on the floor as she read something mounted on the wall, "According to the directory, this blue line here should take us close enough to droid processing, and the ship impound isn't too far off from there, either. We could find Deeyoo, hop on our ship--or a better ship, for that matter--and get the hell outta Domaz pretty easily, long as we don't get nabbed again."

Made an investigation check with Krylo over IM, discovering the directory and two lines on the floor, one red and one blue. Blue line leads to engineering, which is close to droid processing and the ship impound. Red line circuits through the cell blocks and ends at the guard's office. Guess which way we don't want to go!

Liflo looked at Mixari as she talked, and he found himself agreeing with her. “You know what I say we ignore our stuff find Deeyoo and get out of here, I am sure we can make money back from doing small jobs here and there. The only thing we would have to worry about then would be the possible bounty on our heads placed by our former employer when it is found out that we did not complete our delivery.” The thought of being hunted down gave him the shivers.

“We are going to need to stay very low though when we get out, completely off the radar.” He said as if only to himself. Liflo then started to mumble to himself as thing flew by in his head. He then walked up to the Zeltron and took a peak outside the door. She was right of course.. “Come on guys lets find our droid, we can't just wait here forever.” He said while waiting for everyone else.

Velmont looked up, extremely crestfallen at the thought of leaving his stuff behind. He had paid good money for that armour! and had stolen those pistols fair and square. After all that work and running and now he was just going to leave them behind? It made him want to cry.

"Well mates" Velmont then said with a slight catch in his voice. "Let's toss this guy in a cell and be out of here, and quick like. The next guard might be noticing the busted doors fairly quickly."

He so wanted to cry at the thought of leaving his stuff behind, yet he was extremely glad to have at least kept his hat. He'd just have to find another poor sap to pilfer guns from in the end.

"Alright then," said Norlan. He felt his fatigue begin to wear off. "It looks like we know which way to go. Liflo, you have the uniform so you take point. Miraxi, you stay close and be on the lookout. George, if you would be so kind as to guard our rear."

Norlan walked over to the guard. "Someone give me a hand here. The sooner we are out of here the better."
