Rome existed as an empire with an emperor for another 65 years after the Goths sacked Rome, and even then existed as a political force for another hundred years (or until the current day, if you count the Rome-originating Catholic Christian church). And really, what were the barbarians supposed to do? Stay up north and be slaughtered by Attila's hordes? Rome's downfall was a mixture of having the emperor spend all resources on keeping the army happy so they wouldn't kill him, overstretching those resources, and a thousand years being a long, long time so it was gonna happen eventually.

I still think there were Dark Ages....history pretty much backs me up on that. "It's gunna happen eventually" is not a valid excuse in this day and age either. The day it happens is the day everyone fires off their nuclear weapons and we, as a planet, stop happening.

Just really a major disappointment. In a matter of a week, Muhammad jumped onto the censored name list.

First you could show his image because no one cared, then you had to censor it. Then you could at least say his name but now you can't say that either. Muhammad has become He Who Shall Not Be Named.

Does that make the extremists Death Eaters?
