Well, I'm definitely Chaotic. I tend to disregard the rules a lot, and do things my own way. It's a toss up between Evil and Neutral, I guess, though I tend to lean towards Neutral more often than naught.

You have no idea how many times I've had to explain to my various players that chaotic good does not mean "spreading disorder" it means "spreading freedom"
An example:
Player: "I enter the city of the evil warlord and start fireballing buildings."
Me: "You wouldn't do that, there are women and children."
Player: "Meh, I'm chaotic good. Destroying the city will, in the end, promote good as it destroys the warlord, and it also spreads chaos."
Me: "No! You don't understand! Chaotic also means you can see beyond the point objective and also see the implications of your actions! Your natural impulse ought to be to free the women and children, rather than kill them! Its even more likely that a Lawful Good character would do something like that than a Chaotic good character, since a lawful character is locked into an objective."
Player: "But... I'm chaotic good."

It gets under my skin. That never actually happened, but I've had similar arguments with players out of game, who talk about doing things like nuking the cities of evil warlords.

Chaotic-nuetral - i do what the fuck i want and don't weigh what i make people think as a factor. i like having friends, but not friends who like me for someone i'm not. it's also not uncommon for me to shortcut over the curb, fucks up my car though so i don't like to do it too much

That's not Lawful Neutral. Lawful Neutral is where you blindly follow the law and think others should do the same. For no reason other than "it's the law". You sound more like Neutral Good

The thing I read said Lawful Neutral followed either an internal code or the laws of a nation. Also it means that you are reliable and honorable wihtout being a zealot. I follow an internal code which directs me to be mostly honest but I do think there are certain grey areas. Which sounds a heck of a lot like that description.
