You should have Pierce flirt with all the girls he can in the RP. Just to see how it ends up. Seriously. Do it. After the battle, have him ask Shizuka on a date, Hell, or Mika. Continue this pattern with every new girl you meet, and you'll eventually find some girl who'll return it. Then it'll turn out to be like, Pierce's sister with amnesia.

I was hoping you'd follow through with it. You see, this way he'd eventually make it to Charlotte, and I'd have Charlotte give him a semi-positive reaction, but have it be just threatening enough for Pierce to refuse.

Really, any smart person wouldn't flirt with anyone in PATCA. Half of them are criminals, one fourth are former vigilantes. One eighth are enigmatic, and the other eighth are relatively normal*. Chances are you will run into someone uncomfortable to be around.

Meh. Pierce isn't scared of Charlotte. They'd both end up going through with it to see who can scare the other one off first. And it would go on forever and ever and ever, God, they wouldn't even get out of bed to go on missions!

Hell no. Pierce is definately not a sap. Especially not the way he treats Renny on a regular basis (in the RP and on the discussion threads). He might want to grow more emotional, but he's definately not Chizuru material yet.

The fascination about Maria is weird too, given chances are high that she is the least "womanly looking" out of all the NPCs. At least in terms of busts, "sexy curves" and all that. Realistic proportions, even if a little short. I imagine it's just to rile me up. :3
