I personally like to think that the forum is caught in some sort of paranormal rift in the time-space continuum and the weird post times is a biproduct of many overlapping realms of reality.

We damn well better get superpowers and/or get caught up in a madcap time-travel adventure this time, dammit. Otherwise it's hardly worthwhile.
