Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. Were you a boy in highschool at some point? Do you know someone who was? Watch it. It has jokes that are actually witty sometimes. The rest of the time, it's boys being stupid in the particular flavor only boys can produce.

It sounds a bit ridiculous but the fan-service is basically constant. So much so that after like one episode you just stop noticing it.

And why haven't I told you people to watch Romae Thermae? It's like... it's like a public bath and Sealab 2021 had a cartoon baby. You have until Thursday to catch up. It will only air for three weeks, I think.

So it's that special kind of fanservice that's so present it's normal by episode 10 right?

Cause I sat through Magical Pokaan, and UFO Princess Valkirye. And those may have been close to what you discribed in terms of fanservice.

Though I did stop watching UFO after season 3 because the gags became stale. Even the Weaponized Personal Army Catgirl Maids shinanigans got old by season 4. Not to be that guy but coming from me that's really saying something.

Pretty much, yeah.
The standard position is pantslessness. With almost no exception, every female character is running around blatantly flaunting what some shows would take episodes to set up showing. It's pretty demented at first, but then suddenly it just... kinda stops mattering.

So, Last Exile Z finally explores the whole "These slow-moving, enormous airships are sitting ducks against a decent ground-to-air artillery battery" thing. It also brings poorly-spoken Russian and old men to the party, just for you! I'm also digging that The Bad Guys aren't pure evil assholes being evil because they're evil like the guild kinda ended up in the first series.

Nothing has happened in Moretsu Pirates. I'll let you know when stuff happens, then you can catch up.

Nisemonogatari continues to be the best pretty lights and colors, though episode three is that in a more "Red and black and striking" kind of way and less of a "Girls! Girls! Girls!" type of way. Not that there aren't girls, but spooky vampire dude's sequence really was more the focus of my enjoyment.

Hey guys, hey, Black Rock Shooter's gonna get subbed in English on Nico Nico channel starting next Friday. You're all going to watch this garbage with me. You have no excuse.

Also, I'm still judging you for not watching Chihaya Furu.

No one wants to talk about animays with me edit: So, like I said, you can watch Black Rock Shooter legally, for free, with subs in your country's language here, but the episodes are only up for a week. It's not as bad a I hoped, but not that great, either. The fighting, as it is, looks neat, and the world where our emotions are physically harmed but not killed is as weird as ever.

That aside, Smile Precure is everything I hoped it would be. You guys have fun with your good taste, I'll have fun watching a fluffy fairy run away from home to prove that her Sunday morning cartoons are real.

Meanwhile: A friend told me to watch Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere. Anyone seen it? Good? Bad?

Mind you, my anime tastes aren't very refined.
