Last dance with Coyote.
Coyote had set up a command center. the watchers did their duty.
"Did he get out?" Coyote asked. "Yes father." Tycho replied. "Good." ___________ Sarge and his troops attacked master mind's forces while gaurding the coyote command center. Donut was killed by a grenade blast. Blasts of chaos code ripped through the halls as the skirmish escalated. Lopez took a bullet in the head. _____________ "What are the casualties?" "Archangels 4; Puti 46; The Cherubim are all dead; no watcher deaths; and the seraphim got out." Hopefully I can buy the cyber forces as much time as I can __________ Sarge was the last standing he was about to go out in a blaze of glory when he felt the cold steal against the back of his head, then he never felt anything again. _____________ The door exploded and gun fire ripped through the watchers leaving Coyote alone. "You've been a thorn in our side long enough." "Just shoot me and get it over with. Just know this isn't over. I have made sure that you and your master are finished and there is no way to stop it." Agent Smith fired into Coyote's chest. The code leaking out of him like blood. Coyote laughed catching his code in his hand. "Fool you have insured your defeat." he laughed disolving into a cloud of zero and ones. _______________ A raven flew in cyber space. a tear in it's eyes. It lived a gift of it's father. It flew faster than mach 3.

OOC: (Delivers a swift kick to the RP) Get up! We're not done yet!
BIC: Kaitlin walked down the hallway towards Monk's room. It was time for the two of them to investigate the comm center in Cyber Maui that Beowulf and J2 attacked. As she headed towards his room, she kept thinking about all the uncetainty surrounding this mission. I barely know who he is, she thought. Yet Jason trusts that he'll be able to handle himself okay with this mission. Why can't I feel the same way? After all, we were both tools of Mastermind's plans...I should feel at ease with a 'kindred spirit' of sorts. Well, it's not like I have a choice. There's an entire planet at stake here... Finally getting her wits about her, she walked up to Monk's door and knocked on it.

Angel was seated in his wheelchair, in a white room with painfully bright lights. He was still sweating and shaking from his rehab. However, he was filled with a fierce determination.
The door opened, and a man wearing a simple labcoat as well as a suit underneath of it came in and sat down on the opposite side of a table to Angel. "Do you know why you're here Mr. Alexson?" Angel raised a hand. "Please, call me Angel. As far as I'm concerned, Neil is taking a backseat for the duration of this war. And I can throw a guess. To ensure that accelerated healing and immense emotional trauma hasn't veritably FUBAR'd my combat capability." There was an odd silence. The man seated across from Angel coughed. "Well? Am I right?" The man looked straight at Angel, and he got the distinct feeling he was going to do all he could to keep Angel from returning to duty. "Okay, Angel. Can you recount what drove you to pursue the China assignment alone? Yes, we do now have proof that it was you, however we are not releasing that news to the UN at this time." "Simple. I was mad, I was desperate. I'd literally ripped myself into two pieces to try to get Andrea back when we stormed a castle, so to have that second chance was...something I didn't deserve. And I wanted to make sure that if anyone died pursuing my own vendetta and agenda, it would be me or Graves." The man glanced at Angel. "Did you consider consequences of your actions?" "No." "Would you be likely to strike out on your own again?" "My fiance's dead, and Mastermind himself is holding her sister. Personally, I'd rather have nano-equipped and highly skilled UN operatives watching my back if I was going for such a big fish." "Are there likely to be any side effects from your experiences?" "Probably random moments of overwhelming grief, probably anger. But past that, I'd say that I'm clear." "Was you fai-Were your injuries from the White House caused in any part by your trauma?" "Yes. I was eager to get to grips with one of MM's big guys, just to show him he's screwed. I used a rookie tactic, and was even presumptuous to consider using a normal .9 millimeter handgun to take them down. I was stupid, I was blind, and I was lying to myself that I was okay." Fifteen minutes later, back in his hospital bed, Angel wondered if he was given the boot.

Monk's eyes shot open as he heard the sound on the door. "Huh?" He looked at the clock and saw that he had took a ,little too much time on the floor trying to sort out his thoughts. As empty as they were. Getting up off the floor he rushed over to the door, tossed it open and aw his running mate for this mission. "I am sorry... I've been a little... off today." She went to say something as he closed the door behind him and walked onto the cold floor under his feet. Wincing a bit, he looked her in the eye and nodded, "Let's go." Without another world, he headed over to the docking station.

The time came eventually for the doctor to check up on Wraith.
He half-smiled as Oedupe walked into the room, peeping a head in to grin warmly. "Good afternoon, Wraith." "Hi, Doc," Wraith replied, still with a hint of his accent. "Feeling any better?" "Not much, no." Oedupe set down a clipboard with some notes on a counter, and looked at him with a little frown of disappointment. "Why not?" "Ah just been lung-shot, Doc." Wraith shifted his leg under the sheets, stretching it just a bit. "Ain't gonna feel very good for a while." Oedupe shook his head with sympathy, and walked over to his side. "Well, it's the sad truth. Now let me just check this here, and..." Looking at the morphine pack levels and the blood chemistry readouts, he quickly noticed that Wraith wasn't taking his medications. Of course, the nurse had told him as much, he just wanted to be sure. He frowned and looked down at him to ask, "Now, Wraith, you haven't been taking your medicine, have you?" Wraith just stared down at his feet, avoiding eye contact. Oedupe took his silence as confirmation (which was true), and moved to administer the IV himself. "You know you have to take this to--uh!" Wraith grabbed his arm quickly... much faster and with more strength than Oedupe had thought he could. Catching the doctor's surprised eye as he did so, he said firmly, "No." "But Wraith, you have to--!" "NO!" Oedupe struggled under his grip for a second, but Wraith quickly released his arm and let the doctor step back, where he took a deep breath and calmed himself to say, "Wraith, you have to take the morphine to suppress the pain or you'll--" "I'll what? I'll what, huh, pass out?" Silence fell over them and Wraith looked away, sighing quietly. "I can handle it." Oedupe stared at him for a moment, considering, but pressed the matter further. "Look, we only want to help you here. Now, if you just take a little bit of this, the pain will--" "No." "Why not?" he asked, stepping closer. Wraith just stared towards the door for a time, but then looked over to him slowly, and locked eyes. "Because it's too much like the brownstone." "The what?" "...Heroin," he answered, looking back to the door. Suddenly it hit Oedupe like a brick wall. Of course... idiot!, Oedupe thought, chastising himself. He was silent for another while longer, but finally broke it by saying softly, "...Right... I'd forgotten..." He checked the rest of his vitals quickly, silently, and then went to leave after changing his IV nutrient bag. He picked up his clipboard and was about to go towards the door, but stopped and thought for a second... thinking about a few things... He glanced back at him, then went and unhooked the morphine IV, but left the lead hanging on the rack. "I've disconnected it from the feed. If you need any more... I mean... if the pain gets too great... you can call a nurse and let them reconnect it for you." Wraith was silent, which, in a way, hurt Oedupe a bit. He sighed and was about to reach the door when Wraith stopped him. "Thanks..." He turned back at Wraith, watching him finish. "Thanks, Doc." Oedupe wavered in place, catching his balance, then smiled back at him and nodded slightly, acknowledging him and taking his leave. Once the door closed behind him, Wraith sighed and clicked the TV back on, flipping it over to a new channel.

The area of the warehouse where Cassidy was waiting for them was lit only by a lamp hanging from the ceiling. The meager lighting caused harsh shadows from the boxes surrounding them, adding a sinister air to the place.
Cassidy dismissed the two guards that had led Wolf and Scrya in. That didn't leave him unprotected though. Wolf took note of the two other guards standing next to the table Cassidy was seated at. "Take a seat." Cassidy said gesturing to two chairs in front of Wolf and Scrya. The two sat down. As they did so, the guards moved to Wolf's immediate left and Scrya's immediate right. Hmm...I don't like this... Wolf thought for a second, but he decided to stick to the plan. "So, Mr. Lupus and Ms. Anderson, what brings you to me?" "Information." Wolf said simply. "About a certain...individual...that you do business with." "You know I don't give out anything for free, especially info." Cassidy said. Wolf opened the breifcase and showed him the money. Then snapped it shut. "You get it if we get the answers we're looking for." "Very well...what is it that you want to know?" Wolf looked around for a quick second before speaking. "Where is Mastermind?" Cassidy was taken aback for a second, but then regained composure. "I don't know what you mean," he said. "You know damn well what we mean." Scrya said Looking around as the two guards shifted a hand towards their guns, Scrya shrugged and said, "Look, I can't tell ya much, but we just need to get in contact with him and we're in a bit of a squeeze right now, so we need your help." She hoped inwardly that he'd fall for ber bluffing lie, keeping her face as in character as she could but also keeping herself ready to jump into action if need be. Cassidy looked around. "Well...contacting him, eh? What exactly do you need from him?" Wolf shrugged. "Not much, other than his weapon supply lines and where his main base is. See, we're interested in offering our protection services." "...protection services?" Cassidy laughed a bit "He doesn't need protection. What with the First Order guarding him, at least that's what I hear. Mastermind keeps things very quiet. His supply lines all originate from different areas. And his base...well that's even harder to determine. It used to be in the Silicon Valley, but now there are rumors that place it anywhere from Central Europe to the Far East to even somewhere in Africa. That's the best I can give to you two, especially since he never contacts me directly. So...I've given you your info, now give me my money." Wolf sensed that Cassidy was hiding something. "You're going to have to do a little better than that," Wolf said. "What this? You're now changing the rules?" "I didn't realize we had any rules." Wolf shot back. "Listen, I gave you all I know. Now either give me that money or I'm going to shoot you two and just take it." "Won't do you any good, the briefcase only opens if my fingerprint unlocks it." "In that case," he beckoned to the guard at Wolf's left. "I'll make you open it for me, then shoot you." Wolf's hands shot under the table, but the guards leveled their SMGs at him. "Get your hands out from under there! Now!" Wolf slowly brought his hands back up, but as he did so, he let his right hand brush up against Scrya's hand for an instant, and he transmitted his thoughts to her. He's not going to let us leave alive. We're going to take down these guards, get our info, and get the hell out of here. Take the one on the right, I'll take the one on the left. Don't attack until I do. As his hands were brought back up, Cassidy barked out orders. "Now, get your briefcase and open it." Wolf bent down and picked up the breifcase. Just as it cleared his waist he swung the case up with blinding speed and knocked the guard's SMG out of his hands. He then dropped the case, grabbed the guard, relieved him of his sidearm, and pistol whipped the guard across the skull, knocking him out. As fast as Wolf was, Scrya was even faster. With just one punch, she rose from her seat and sucker punched the guard on her right square in his nose. The sheer force of the blow threw the man into the air vertically, his nose and lower eye sockets completely shattered under the trauma while his arms whipped uselessly to his sides, pulling the trigger on his gun for just a second before the pain in his face and the shock got to him. He then crashed into the wall behind him with a loud *CRUNCH* before falling lifelessly on the ground. Cassidy was about to reach for his gun after he stood, but Scrya then quickly leapt on top of him and cat-pounced him down to the ground, and pinned his arms. Unable to move, he was simply lashing out under her strength, while she could hear Wolf turning to look; first at the unconscious and probably mortally wounded guard, then at Cassidy behind the desk, trapped underneath her. "Talk," she demanded. So much for "zero body count", Wolf thought. He walked over to Cassidy and leveled his gun at his skull. "Better do what the lady says, she looks angry." he said. Cassidy spat "I told you everything I know!" Wolf shook his head. "Wrong fuckin' answer." he fired a round that just barely missed Cassidy's head. "Next time I won't aim to miss." Time ticked by, Cassidy seemed hesitant, so Wolf drew back the hammer on the pistol. Cassidy finally gave in. "All right! I'll talk. I honestly don't know where his main base is...but I've heard some stories that say he's in the Far East. He's either in South Korea, China, or Japan. If you ask me, I say China because that's where he first struck 5 years ago, and the place is still a mess. He could, in theory, have a main base there and no one would know. I swear, that's all I know! Now just get out of here!" Wolf decided that was all they were going to get out of him. "All right. We will. Barbara, you can release him now." As Scrya got off of Cassidy, Wolf unlocked the breifcase and held it out. "Here's your damn cash." he said tossing it and hitting Cassidy in the head, knocking him back down onto the ground. Wolf and Scrya turned and left. Just before they exited the lighted area, Wolf turned back to the flummoxed Cassidy. "One more thing," Wolf said as he took the pistol back out. "Don't try to set up an ambush against an augment." He fired two shots into two nearby boxes. Cassidy's door guards crumpled over dead. "Good day." Wolf recovered his weapons and the two left the warehouse and headed back to the car. Within mere seconds they were on their way to the next contact on the list.

His doctor soon steps in and slaps him for five-word-posting.
But just BEFORE that happens, a knock comes at his door, some couple hours after he drifted off. Nothing happens for a moment, but the knock comes again, and that seems enough to bring Angel around again. When he looks up, Wraith's in the doorway, in a wheelchair. (( Just burning time 'til Jade comes to collect Wraith. ))
