I HATE this test. HATE HATE HATE HATE!!! Why on earth did they put in a writing section?! Pure EVIL! And to think this test decides whether or not I go to a good college...

I DO despise the new essay section. Don't get me wrong, I love writing, but not when I get scrutinized on how my 14th paragraph topic statement links in with the sentence following my thesis, which must contain a summary of the following... bleh...

I got a 2060 on the "new PSAT." I'm pretty sure that was the highest score in the school for a sophomore. Little more studying and I should do fine on the next ones, I hope.

And i received a loathsome 1520. That makes me stupid. Now i'm going to have to take the classes. O'd to freakin' joy.

And they always make you writee about insignifigant things such as: What would a flee do if it was trapped under a rock?

But the best is when they give you those 'write about the picture' essays. Those are just hilarious.

I didn't even take the old SAT. I took the ACT.

Got a 29. So I didn't have to take the SATs.

In case you're wondering, 29 is a really, really good score.

I took the original SAT, and did good enough on it and I am interested in seeing what the new one is like. The new one was created to solve some of the "problems" that people say in the old one. Like being able to take classes to get better scores, or that the tests seemed "racist", i think a study showed that asian and white people typically did better then others. The new test didn't really solve any of these problems, I think that it made it so that taking an SAT prep class helped you more, and adding harder parts, like Alg 2 (even though this may seem easy to some of us) and an essay, only reinforce the differences in schooling that people are able to get, so they do worse on the harder protions.

im pretty sure those were the scores...im gonna have to find the sheet they sent me with all my scores.
