As Ashvin his looking into the room he hears a second door open to his left. A quick check around the corner reveals John also checking out the room. So it appears others have been trapped in here and they are just as lost as you. It may be a good idea to compare notes since the room seems safe enough.
Other than the meeting of Ashvin and John the room is the same as the one you left and the door numberings are as follows: 14-13, 144-11, 703-9, 2003-7, 3576-5, 3862-3, 1717-1, 3433-2, 5149-4, 4291-6, 2289-8, 781-10, 157-12, and 15-14; and on the wall you just came from 16-15, 196-13, 1156-11, 4096-9, 9556-7, 15016-5, 15016-3, 6436-1, 12871-2, 20021-4, 18019-6, 10921-8, 4551-10, 1261-12, and 211-14. |

Ashvin looked up to the other man in the new room.
"Hey, do you know where this is and what the hell we're doing here?" He glanced back at the door from whence he came. The numbers were different now. Of course. They were in different rooms. "And what do all these numbers mean, anyway?" |

John jumped in surprise when the man spoke to him; he hadn't noticed the newcomer.
"Um... I don't know where we are, I'm afraid, or why we're here... As to the numbers, I think that they're some sort of sequence... I think that it's a puzzle of some sort..." He quickly told the man what he had figured out thus far, and, venturing into the room, showed him the sequence in his notebook. He turned around, looking at the doors. "Hmm... The number above one of these doors in the wall behind us is the same as the number in the room that I just came from, except that the last number is one higher..." He considered them for a little longer. "And while the sequence in my room had the larger numbers of each pair - at least I think that they're pairs - on the left, this has them on the right... Which would of course be the left from the other side... Trying the same trick as before, but reversed, he comes up with: 195, 1065, 3395, 6825, 8463, 5005, -2145, (6434). He turned to the wall across from his entry. "Hmm... And on this wall the numbers are greater to the left again. It suggests that the direction is important, or that the specific door is important... Odd... There is one less door here, so there is no middle number..." Nevertheless, he once again performed his subtracting trick, getting: 1, 13, 78, 715, 1287, and 1716. He looked at his notepad, then at the doors. On a hunch, he wrote down the numbers themselves as well, popping his head back into his starting room to note down the number on the floor and the numbers above the doors, and looked over his notes again. "I don't see much yet, except that the first number on the "inside" - i.e. the side that we face when entering a room - has been one both times thus far, and the second number is one less here than in the previous room... I'm referring to the difference numbers, not the door numbers... Hmm... The middle number on this side is almost twice the middle number on the other side... or, if looked at by digits, is the first digit times two, the second and third is the same, and the fourth is incremented by one... The only other thing that I notice is that the first door - with 14 above it - has the same number as the second difference number from my starting room, and that the fourth door - with 2003 above it - has a number one greater than the sixth difference number from my previous room..." He turned to the other man and extended his hand. "Oh, I'm John, by the way. What is your name?" OOC: Just a note: Unless otherwise specified, my character is going to keep recording the numbers above the doors as he goes on.

Thomas couldn't see the door numbers, but he wasn't liking the scraping sound too much. He reached into his pocket and pulled out one of his spare batteries.
"Sorry, baby." He tossed the battery into the room. If there was a trap or a creature, the clinging battery should bring it out.

Alex finds the corspe fully looted. Whoever had left him here had taken anything not being worn as clothing. Unless Alex feels like disrobbing a corspe it doesn't hold any value for him.
As the battery clanged against the cold metal floor the sound stopped. In a flash of fur the battery disappeared. After it stopped moving so much he could tell that it was a cat. The distinct smell of cat urine could be smelled from over in the corner. It appears that someone forgot a pet in here. |

Thomas gave out a sigh, walked into the room, and picked the cat up. The purred out loud, and rubbed against his arm. It seemed to have missed companionship.
"I think I'll bring you along. No one likes to be alone, especially in a place like this." Thomas checked the neck. The cat had a collar. On a bright plate, the name "Tigger" was etched. "So, you're called Tigger, eh?" Thomas looked up at the numbers on the doors.

Dan stepped backwards and slammed the door shut.
"Perhaps 911 is last." With that, he opened the next door to the right and peered in
