I cant remember what part this came in but I have a panel in my mind where some ones coming back to tell the guys about a quest or somewhere they need to go, just whilst Black Mage has stabbed some one and replies "any place is better than here" or something along the lines of "any place", anyone recognise it?

Thats the one! I've had the line stuck in my head all day almost driving me mad and I couldnt think for the life of me where in the story it could have come from :p

Was there a comic where they stayed at an inn?

It was either an 8bit episode or some other guest comic or something I'm remembering; pulled out my copy of Final Fantasy and I just saved my game and remembered reading about the "hold down Reset while you turn the power off" in a comic somewhere.
