Terezi thinks everyone's dreamself is dead.
So macking on a corpse might not be up there in her list of emergency response procedures.

I think Tav's dreamself is dead. I think Karkat recalled shouting at him before Jack destroyed everything. And keep in mind, he blew Prospit into oblivion, why would Tav be out in space?

This is the most difficult task for Tavros to ever do, earn a kiss from Terezi while he's busy being a bleeding-out dreamself somewhere in the medium.

And I think Tavros' dreamself is actually alive, his talk of sky frolicking implies he did more than fly circles around Prospit. And since dreamselves vanish upon the realself waking up Jack wouldn't be able to find him.

I'm pretty sure Tavros implied (not confirmed) that his dream self (and all others, which turned out to be not true) died.

I still think Tavros' dream self died, for some reason.

He did tell Jade that all the troll dreamselves were dead a little bit before the EoA4 flash. So either he is screwed, or he was just unaware that he still has one.
