What's to prevent Tavros from being rezzed in The Furthest Ring if Terezi licks his corpse? It's where dreamers with dead dreamselves go, why would the same not be true for resurrections involving dead dreamselves as well.

He wakes up out there, drifts for some time being tormented by the HorrorTerrors and then is somehow transported to the Kids' session (communing with Jadesprite?) thus providing them with The Plan to meet up.

Remember that, if Tavros' dreamself is indeed still alive, we're going to need Terezi to act quickly to revive him before the dreamself dies as well. Waiting too long will bring the wounds from the normal body to the dream body, and at that point you're boned.

And considering it's been a solid half hour of falling with that thing through his chest, the window is likely closing fast.

Actually, it's probably a lot less falling. Hussie said that there was some dicking around and memo-responding going down between Vriska waking up and Tavros reaching her.

Though in the flash it's
-3:14
-Open eyes (this seemed to be the 'waking up' referred to in the title, though that admittedly could have just been referring to Aradia)
-Fight Tavros

So it does seem like 3:14 would be the approximate time of being dropped. But on the other hand, they're in a meteor, and one that didn't look too big. I doubt he could spent 20 minutes straight falling. So probably yeah, that's it. The flash was misleading, though.
