Ectobiology didn't feel like it before, but the frog breeding definitely feels like a game mechanic. Things like golden chocobos or any game with item synthesis requiring multiple iterations and Guide Dang It moments.

Basically, the 'annoying sidequest to get the perfect thing' is apparently integral to the Homestuck main game. That must be annoying to some players.


Also, do we know how Kanaya's planet was changed after lighting her Forge?

I asked if we know how her planet was changed. If it was mentioned before, with more details on what specifically was DONE to the planet by the lighting of the Forge. Her planet was obviously not defrosted as it was not covered with ice. I guess we don't know, then.

According to the MSPA wiki, it lowered her planet's water level.

My friend has been catching up in Homestuck and she got to the flash where you get to explore the Troll's place in Alternia (with the wonderful hair-flip) and she alerted me to getting to explore some of the Troll's rooms (which I totally missed).

I found Tavros' legs in Vriska's room. I laughed and then I felt a little bad. (But mostly laughed.)
