No, for some reason the original video wouldn't cooperate outside of Opera (in which it operated beautifully). It seems that it doesn't work as well with shorter videos. Regardless, what you're talking about shouldn't have affected my original video (which did not work at all), as I put the start time just shy of 1/3rd of the way through (11 seconds into a 39 second clip).

Wow, that "Eternal Sonata" cutscene was just asking for it. Long, tedious, and horribly written...I mean, the announcer actually tells you that a scene is supposed to be mysterious. The show's pretty funny, though. "This shot marketed to vampires!"
