Kyanbu: That's pretty good, and your lines are getting cleaner. Keep it up!

Loyal: It strikes me that some of the lines are a bit too hard, or at least the one extending from his nearest cheek. I'm not sure what I'd do to fix it, though. Probably substitute shading for it.

CJ: His(?) further eye should be recessed. As it is, he has no eye socket on his right side. I like the coloring, though, how it incorporates the original sketch.

It's a he, but he's probably the most effeminate guy in Metal Gear. (even moreso than Raiden and Raikov.)

They look... too shiny. Honestly, I'd go with just making a symbol/icon to represent all these things.

They're intended to be like Chrono Trigger's element banners. In fact, the older versions had a bit more clear inspiration from them in a couple cases.

That's all they're going to be used for is the character menu. I needed an easy and friendly way to identify basic information at a glance. Pictorial icons don't do it quite as easily, so I combined pictures with words.

Things are otherwise much more subtle, using colors and basic insignias.

It's too mixed. At least standardise the font used a little. Doesn't all have to be exactly the same, but closer to a standard would be better.

Too much disparity is just distracting.

I didn't consider that. Just kinda figured I'd make them look elemental and be done with it since they're only ever going to be seen one at a time.
