You guys forgot the smartest member of the Bebop crew, Einstien. As for Spike not being able to take out Goemon... I think you underestimate the sheer assholish refusal to lose that he has, not to mention the crazy moves. I don't think you're giving him the credit he deserves.

I really think Spike and Goemon could go either way.

I, however, know for a fact that Spike can at LEAST hold Goemon off until Jigen and Fujiko are down and out.

I also know that Goemon is not going to take on Faye, shooting out tires with a single shot while going eighty and swerving, Valentine, Jett, pure grizzled badass, Black, AND Spike, I will fucking kick your ass no matter how many bullets you put in me, Spiegal at the same time.

Fujiko does fight on occasion (see Castle of Cagliostro for one). Her main forte is deception though, and I would give Faye the edge on her.

As for Ed being smarter, it may be true, but Lupin is craftier and more resourceful. I don't hand that to Ed quite yet.

And I don't think it's over between Jigen and Jett either. If it's at range, Jigen will probably win due to how CRAZY accurate he is, except that it will take quite a few really good hits to take Jett out.

Goemon's dealt with people who are both swordfighters and gunmen before (another Lupin movie, I can't recall the name, but it dealt with some guys trying to get hold of "The Lupin Collection"), though it did cause him trouble. I think it all depends on aggressiveness in this case. If Goemon is ruthlessly aggressive, he'll prevail over Spike. If it's a normal duel, I'm pretty sure Spike is in better shape than Goemon simply from having to deal with formidable foes on a more regular basis, and he'll probably eventually get the better of Goemon. Then again, Goemon could go totally off the hook and start slashing up the walls of wherever they're fighting. And I guess I can't rule out him disabling Spike's gun either.

Pirates would be the first to go down. They have been repeatedly proved to be far worse warriors than ninjas, and if you combine Shaolin monks in the blender you get pirate cake.

I gotta agree, as badass as pirates are in character, they're not REALLY that great at out-and-out combat. Space pirates go double both ways, double the badass character, double the lack of combat proficiency.

Then again, One Piece could probably take Naruto. (I don't watch either, but I'm just sayin')

I watch(or read) both to a degree, and yeah One Piece would win pretty easily (I mean Enel alone could just blow up the planet with that super form Luffy didn't let him use).

Of course Dragon Ball or Fist of the North Star(which align pretty close to Shaolin Monks) would annihilate both. Who in turn would be obliterated by Dark Schneider, which means by anime logic, pirates and ninjas are pretty weak compared to Shaolin Monks, but all of them get humiliated by wizards.

Which Link, and which Megaman?

In general, Link is more resourceful than Megaman, but Megaman packs way more heat than Link. I'd still give it to Link because when has Megaman ever had to fight someone who is actually crafty? And how many times has Link taken down someone who packs a wollop?

Then again, Megaman is quite a lot quicker than most of Link's adversaries, and the rate at which he can output damage is also much higher. They both fight similar bosses, and quite similar enemies actually. I do think Megaman's speed is going to be a big problem for Link.

Of course, Link always has magic stuff that will take down lots of high-performance foes.

This is tougher than I originally thought.
