I believe its only a megabyte big, open canvas owns all your bastard MS paints. Its can be better for digital paintings than photoshop if you know what you are doing. I tend to use a mixture of both photoshop and open canvas when I make a GOOD digital painting.(Not my mexican dude from a few pages back thats a shitty five minute one) And for all you shameful people who are attaching stuff to the forum, you could just do a simple http://www.imageshack.us/ host. Its less dumb. Fo real.If you have a high connection speed, just go to Kazaa and pick up photoshop for a special discount. Seriously.

DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of you guys are like my heroes now. I mean i can draw really well, when im in the mood. (which apperently ive only been in twice, cuz thats all the good sketchies i got) But some of you guys are amazing... I mean dang, id put mine on here, but i aint got no scanner (hows that for texas slang? heh.) I wish i did though, i might compare to some of your guys' stuff.

EDIT. I know that sounds really suck-up ish, but im seriouse, i take drawing seriousy, and i hate it when people are like 'because i drew it then its perfect' so dont get me started there, or ill probably end up gettin kicked off for my response.

Yeah sorry for the wierd title. The title of it was originally just Swiftwings but I tacked on that last bit as a way of discerning the full size one from the shrunken one. (I have a wierd filing system going...) Anyway Naota, welcome. Please keep your arms, legs and any other apendages you might have on you inside the vehicle at all times until the ride had come to a full and complete stop. We hope we can be a help to you if you have questions. (have you had the whole double-posting schpiel made clear to you yet?)

Damn, I was gonna post the lyrics of a song here, but it would take too much space... It wasn't gonna look pretty. Just one verse then, and that should be enough to tell what my drawing's about. It's not completely life like, but it's close enough.

I'm just starting out in this so I ain't really got the hang of it yet

Some pointers eh? First thing I noticed is that in the first piktoor is that the nose has one side. Noses have two. Your lines should be cleaner, your ears should look the same and faces are generally a little longer than that. Other than those, its good.

Yes, but in anime and the sort, the noses tend to have only one side... and sometimes only a slight hint of the other.

I'd like to get some feedback on some pixel-art I've been doing... They aren't technically sketches but I don't think there's a place for pixel-stuff, so here goes...

I can't seem to figure out a way to get the feet right... or the bottem of the pants legs... and somethign seems off about the hair as well.

To put it rather blunt, for the feet use a half circle with a square on top... It looks somewhat like a foot when looking at it from the front.
The legs are now a bit too short.
You could make a pair of straight pants, but I'm not sure if that is your intention.
The hair seems normal enough, but you could try and make it a bit longer on the backside.
