Yeah, they really confused their anti-meth ads with their anti-weed ads. It doesn't even work as a parody of the latter because it's exactly the kind of silly nonsense actual anti-weed ads try to use to 'scare' kids off of weed.

It's either an incredibly complex and incisive piece of social criticism, or kind of just fucking stupid. I am leaning towards the latter.

And hell half of the other stuff Pink posted even attempts to be funny. Hey Pink, are you aware of what like, the point of this thread is supposed to be?

EDIT: In fact are a lot of people? I was having this conversation with Mesden yesterday where she was all like "you can't ban stupid motivational posters because that's just one incredibly stupid thing and there's all these other incredibly stupid things in the funny things threads so you have to let all the incredibly stupid things in!" I'm tempted to say she has a point in that a lot of people seem to be using this thread as a dump for every random sucky dumb bunch of ass they find on the internet. Hell's bells guys post something maybe actually funny, yeah?

I suppose advertising what meth's ACTUAL non-side-effect-effect is probably wouldn't make a good deterrent. "Hey kids! Meth will put you in a world of pure pleasure. Meth: Not even once."

Then again, my local paper once ran an anti-meth article which stated that the first time is like "ten simultaneous orgasms," so I guess someone thought that approach was a good idea.

Meth is the world's easiest drug to do an anti-drug campaign for as the campaign which that ad is knocking off really aptly demonstrates, cause they're all like "Meth: your teeth will fall out of your head and you'll starve to death and at some point you'll probably beat your mom bloody in a withdrawal-rage. Woo, meth!"
