Now, I consider myself a really considerate and nice guy. But for this screenshot, I just have to say: Suck it. Suck it long. And suck it hard.

I slotted it on my first attempt. Class A slotting, 500k and two oridecon. I only had the one katar, so I risked having no wind katar. I'm fucking ecstatic.

Put some PvP cards in there and you have one of the three best SB build SinX katar weapons on any standard-like server. Not including mass murder kinda.

Now those evade me, the pvp cards. Why would a wind katar be good in pvp? *Never gets to woe because of timezone*

wind is one of the elements not resisted by valk shield (which resists...water fire shadow undead)

also if they're frozen/wearing swordfish they're fucked.

with double bloody boned (or myabe triple bloody, i dunno which one is better) it has comparable base damage output to a bloody infil (i think!) though a bit less.

but infil is neutral, which people normally have high resistances to. to get around that most people use cursed waters, which is resisted by valk shield! gasp. so yea.

EDIT: though if you're pro (read: rich) you'd use ele converters or something, or get a prof to enchant you.

Because it bypasses neutral resists and allows for easy gear swapping without a stockpile of converters on your character, thus allowing you to carry more pots and free up a hotkey space.

Vesp: People don't use Cursed Waters, people use Lightning converters for the same exact reasons you use a wind katar: no Valk shield resists (which does resist dark in case you forgot). In fact, assuming the person has average neutral resists on this server (noxious), you're actually making your damage worse by using cursed waters. Let alone, of course, the fact that you can heal undead armor users.

Man, kinda makes me wish I had put PvP cards in it. Oh well, now to rape anols. I do like, 1300 damage with GT (More if I use venom dust or a poison arrow)

The damage caused by poison doesn't count as done by you. So it means you lose experience. I recommend a stun or curse arrow. I use a katar with a cursing card and a stun arrow so I get both for jups.

You can always decard it when you are done with anols. Also it's really only useful if you intend to go SB build. A crit sin isn't going to bother with any katars other than his favorite spec jur and a bunch of converters.
