So why exactly aren't there any ME Animated films like Dead Space had?

On April 7, 2011, EA announced that anime distributor Funimation Entertainment and Japanese studio T.O Entertainment will produce an anime film adaptation based on the series. The film will be released in the summer of 2012.

So says Wikipedia anyway.

Hmm, I'm not sure anime is the best way to go. But I guess it could be interesting.

e: I suppose it would be the story in a form that is considered canon. Not sure what are supposed to be all the canon choices.

I'm a bit leery about the prospect of a mass effect anime, because if the preset choices and the novel summaries are any indication, the writers seem to have really wanted fans to play as primarily renegades and got a bit upset that people didn't wholly buy into their fascist space cop dream, which suffers from the traditional "bioware cannot into evil path choices" problem.

Looks like the Prothean is a DLC character. The DLC is called From Ashes.

The sad thing about this is that he clearly won't have much impact on the story as a result. *shrug*

It's not like ME2 didn't have squad mates like that.

Anywho, was thinking more about the demo. Something that occurs is the level design of the whole second mission is fucked. Poor cover placement in addition to an already poor cover system, and a very repetitive goal to the mission. "Go here. Press button. Go to next floor to press next button. Go to next floor to press next button." That whole mission is just a mess.
