Also, I was just illustrating a point, I know you could just as easily be sizing up my wrist or something like that. And yah, the blood making them heal even faster sounds good.

So, Krylo, it's pretty obvious this is based on Mercedes Lackey's books. Specifically Bedlam's Bard (the series) and that one that has Tannim.
Can I do something like the Eric Banyon of this world?

Obviously there are limits... I can't Dominate everyone's mind... Just the important peoples...
And I don't know what you mean by 'sizing up my wrist', but I have an idea... One last question, then my questions will stop and you can rejoice. Since Metamorphosis is innate for vampires, does that count as (the) one (of the) other abilites outside of Telepathy I can use?

Nope... you can still pick something else.
And I've never read Mercedes Lackey's books, SS... so unless Nate has (the other guy who was working on the MUD that I pulled all this information from... even the basic plot of this is something we were discussing as a kind of admin controlled quest), it's just coincidence that it lines up. In other words... you'll have to tell me who Eric Banyon is.

Ironic that this is 'obviously' based on a series of books, when krylo admitted to getting parts of it from Retro-MUD, and while I don't recognize all of it, I recognize parts of that story I thought from other sources (Norse history/religon I believe? I'm probably wrong).
However, back on topic, how strong are we going to be by the end? Will the mage types get new spells not listed? And also since my guy focuses on pyromancy, yet mose of the spells seem to be mixed, should I just call him a mage but focus on giving him fire spells?

Celtic mythology for some of the races and the seelie/unseelie courts, standard fantasy for a few other races... I can't remember if it was AD&D or D&D... or which version... but a good amount of races came out of the guidebook... and then I looked them up online using non-D&D sources for any I could to get an idea of what they were like, and then wrote up their stats based on that... never looked at any stats from the books though. Nate had the books and just gave me a list of everything that could sanely be a PC race... I ditched a lot of them. Xodar were stolen straight from Retro-mud... umm... I think that's about it other than my own crack-headed imagination.
Edit: Oh, and Ren's the one who altered the faerie courts to what they're like now. She knows lots about faeries... And as for the spells, you can have some not listed right now if you want, like I said... that list wasn't final, and even if it was you could put together some of your own. I do plan on you learning some more... one in particular... And you can still be a pyromancer. Just stick to spells that have a main component of fire... like flame shield, etc. With weaker spells that have other components... How powerful will you be by the end? Well... our ultimate goal is to stop the god of destruction from randomly destroying things for shits and giggles. Other than that, I don't want to spoil too much, plus I have to work in some plot ideas in my head with every new character. "How can I make this guy capable of ____ in such a way that it won't seem contrived."

Well, I hope I got this right. Despite my current caffeinated state (or due to it, depending on how you look at it) I am not sure if I did everything right.
Name: Rovial Occupation: Bodyguard Race: Feles Skills: Hand to hand combat, climbing, stealth, some clairsentience and physchometabolism Appearance: Attractive just like most of his race are, the tanned skinned Ravioli seems to be, as one once said, "Too cute to be a killer," which is exactly what his master wants people to think. Flaming red hair is cut to just past shoulder length so that it is short enough to not get in the way, but long enough so that he can look the part of a treasured "trophy". Normally, he is seen wearing rather decorative robes when he plays the part of a trophy. However, underneath those are always a simple black and blue uniform comprised of shirt, pants and boots. They are meant to protect him slightly without weighing him down, while being unnoticed underneath the over set of clothing. Bio: Rovial has never known the true meaning of being free, he was born into slavery and sold as soon as he was of age. Though seen simply a trophy by most, he was taught to be ready to keep his charge from harm at all times while making himself as weak as possible. Azure eyes constantly look out for danger, to keep his charge as well as himself safe. As a slave he does not speak much about himself, or much of anything else. His will was broken at an early age, as his masters wish to keep him from rebelling. Now twenty and having had to adjust to a new master every now and then, he has learned to be obedient to whoever his current master is. PS: Before anyone says something...no. My guy will not be the servant of a man, mostly because pretending to be that person's trophy would not be very convincing (unless that person's openly gay/bisexual), and partly because I am a bit uncomfortable with that idea (when it concerns me or a character of mine). PPS: Tell me if I did something wrong. I'm pretty sure there's some stuff I'll need to edit. |

That looks pretty decent, so long as your some psychometabolism and clairsentience are limited to one or two powers each... like maybe body weaponry/enhanced strength or adrenaline control, and all around sight... but nothing too powerful.
And... hopefully someone will make a female character that would have need of an assassin/bodyguard.

No... Hoepfully someone will make a female character that is a slave... My slave...
Edit - And why would your guy be called a body guard for his occupation, but you call him a trophy constantly (Usually people do not try and ruin their trophies)?

Hopefully they'll make both.
We should get Celes in here to lord over Ecurt's guy. Sounds like he wouldn't mind the whip of authority... wanting to be some woman's trophy slave. Also: I think he means that his masters don't want people to know he's a bodyguard/assassin so they have him disguise as a trophy slave. I could be wrong though...
