TBH
Tobey Maguire is a wad. Spec spiderman? Awesome to the compilation of series, but its so hollow and empty that without the backstory from TAS I probably wouldn't enjoy it.. it's a nice look, it's sleek and ready to please all the media saturated kids, but compare something like Block Cat's story in TAS to Spec, or the movie's Venom to TAS. I enjoy doc oc in the new ones, he was built to be a 2000's character same as vulture was built to be a 60's-80's character. Who would be an awesome villain in the movie? Not vulture. Who would? Probably: Carnage Electro Kraven the Hunter Lizard Mysterio But if you srsly have to get vulture in there, what about: The Sinister Six

I don't know, Topher Grace's Not-Eddie Brock is powerful enough to wipe out the awesomeness of things not even related to Spider-Man 3, like That '70s Show. Therefore it may very well be able to affect the awesomeness of Spectacular Spider-Man via six degrees of separation in the minds of people unaware that Spectacular Spider-Man has not much in common with live-action adaptations of Spider-Man other than the name and some elements of the universe.

See the thing is, Topher might have made a good Peter Parker, he had a good enough background in comedy. He was wasted on Eddie Brock though.

What I want to know is what they mean by "Movies like Spider-man". Movies with lots of CGI? Movies that make lots of money? Or just motion pictures? I just get ads for something called For Free Empire Craft.

They mean "You're stupid enough to think you're going to be in spider-man" Sort of like those perfumes that say "just like" in small print, and "CALVIN KLEIN" in large print.
