The series two finale was awesome.
Then they ruined it by bringing Rose back. |

Not bad.

Do they have Dr. Who on Hulu? I haven't had a chance to watch since the Master died. So yeah. A bit behind.

Waters of Mars aired today. Any impressions? I'm just getting around to watch it.
EDIT: That was... wow... We rarely see the dark side of the Doctor. That had me on the verge of my seat. Last edited by Regulus Tera; 11-16-2009 at 12:13 AM. |

Rarely? This is the first time I can remember.
Shows like this almost never get my heart rate up. This one was different, especially the end. Didn't Gadget go through a bit of water to get out? Is Earth now doomed? EDIT: Haha, just the headline: http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog...d-special.html

Watched Waters of Mars last night. Was an ok idea but they pushed it too far into campy melodrama. I know this is Doctor Who we are talking about but still.
In addition I totally expected the captain to shoot the Doctor at the end but the route they took is much better and more powerful |

Ooookay there, Doctor. Maybe you should go lay down for a bit...
Great episode Edit: You know, ever since later in McCoy's run, the Doctor has bit by bit been getting darker. Considering that we know he or an aspect of him one day becomes the Valeyard, I wonder if this is foreshadowing.

That would be some extreme long run foreshadowing. Besides the next doctor looks like a pussy and not dark at all.

Am I the only one that wasn't impressed by this? There was a lot of hype about how this was the scariest doctor who episode yet, and I just didn't get it. In the last fifteen minutes or so he has some violent mood swings and goes from defying fate to I am the all powerful master of the universe and all the way back to 'what have I done?!' all in a ridiculous space of time. I liked the episode up until that point. Seemed like it was just there to set up the next episode.
