I now introduce you to the best Sonic in 3D game you will ever play... mainly cause it plays just like the classics... and the only other characters are Tails and Knuckles.

And the crazy part is... NOT EVEN MADE BY SEGA!

Thats right... FANS showed Sega up with Sonic in 3D... not to mention this was made in the FPS Doom Legacy engine...
How's THAT for impressive?

Actually, I started playing it, pretty fun. I wish the Chaos Emerald levels were more like the race ones from Sonic 2, but the game does a good job of feeling like the original Sonic games, but in 3d. My main complaint is that Sonic feels a bit out of control, but it's worth it because he's a fast motherfucker like nobody's business. Basically, if Sega did exactly what these guys did, tightened up the controls, and gave it good graphics, you would have the best 3d Sonic game ever.

I've got a soft spot for Bonus Level ala Sonic 3. Music alone.

Sonic 2's bonus levels are more fun if you play with someone who is actively trying to keep you from getting the emerald.

Also might I add that Sonic Robo Blast 2 has downloadable level packs that anyone can make!

The best ones are Mystic Realm which adds a whole 8 zones onto the game with all original music.
Chaos Zone which while a bit on the easy side with its 4 Zones, is a sight to behold (Floating in the Air Castle anyone?).
And Acid Missile which is a 3 Zone pack thats insanely fun if a bit on the harder side....

And the game is packed with a ton of other stuff like Multiplayer Co-Op, Deathmatch, CTF, and Race mode.

Also Knuckles is actually fun to play as once again!
