In one swift, fluid movement, Sango pulled Hiraikotsu from her back, giving Naruto a nice little bonk on the head. Her eye twitched just slightly as she pulled the boomerang back to its original position. "There's no need in scaring him."

An irritated sigh escaped her lips as she shut her eyes. "I say we find a safe place to stay... like this.. ho-tel that Utena speaks of. We can think of a plan from there."

"Um guy with transportation here." Kaneda said trying to get attention. He reved his powercycle for good measure. "I can do a search of the area and see if I can find a bus map or something.?"

Sango jumped slightly at the revving of the cycle. Never in her life had she see anything so weird, and that was a lot coming from a girl that fought demons on a daily basis. "Well, uhm... I suppose you can go and try to scout the area on that... thing."

He reved up the powercycle and with a cloud of white smoke was off. His bike circling the block looking for any clue where they are.

"What an odd thing.... it's like... a carrage... that moves very fast, and without horses or something else to pull it." Her face had a bit of a confused expression as she watched Kaneda zoom off on the powercycle.

Naruto would have jumped on Sango after that remark, if it not had been for the revving of the engine. The shock of the sound made him fall flat on his face, an experience he did not enjoy.

He didn't really like these people, they sorta reminded him of those jerks back in the village. And that Sango girl had a heavy boomerang.

Getting up, the genin's eye twitched. "You guys are getting bed bugs when you fall asleep," he muttered.

Serious now, he scratched the side of his head in out loud thought. "Hey, if there are no people here, will there be some in the hotel?"

She scoughed at the bed bugs comment, the confusion still on her face though. "I'm not sure if there will be people in the hotel...." She felt as though she was the only one there that didn't know what in the world a hotel was. "Uhm... I might sound a bit stupid but... what IS a hotel?"

Naruto blinked, then sighed for the umpteenth time today. Even I know what a hotel is.

The shinobi thought for a minute as how to explain, then when he got the solution he snapped his fingers.

"A hotel is like a home," he started, trying his best to sound like Iruka-sensei, "Only for many people, and they stay there for only a short time and pay people for the shelter. It's like buying ramen, only you're buying a room for a while."

Naruto nodded assuringly to Sango. "Now..if only we had some ramen..." His stomach grumbling added for effect. "You know when that guy is getting back, cause it's already been five minutes!"

"Oh, so it's an inn of sorts." Finally she understood, grinning a bit. "You could have just said that to begin with."

Her eyes widened slightly at the sound of his stomach growling quickly followed by a slight sweatdrop and the quiet sound of her own stomach growling at the mention of ramen. Back in her normal time, they had been planning to eat once everyone had gotten settled back in, but now she was stuck here, with nothing to eat at all.

"I'm sure Kaneda-sama will be back shortly." She remarked, glancing around for the strange machine. "I must admit, I'm a bit hungry myself... I was supposed to be eating by now... I wonder if they have even noticed I'm missing yet."

Rushe giggled when Sango bonked Naruto on the head. Yoko used to do that all the time. Maybe she wasn't so bad after all.

Naruto seemed pretty much okay too... he was scary at first, but maybe that was how people in this place were like.
