Yup, saw that yesterday too. That fact alone is making me reconsider buying a Wii. Nintendo's been looking more and more amazing since E3 began. I was really set on nailing a PS3, but me and my friends agree, Sony just isn't cutting it this year. FF13? Come on now.

I SO hope Snake's blocking move turns him into a box. And darts probably inflict you with a stun effect.

I'm willing to be it is a box. I'm also willing to be that many characters will actually have a block stance compared to the circular shield we're so familiar with. Hit has his wings, Meta Knight goes invisible with his wings, Kirby...turns into a rock, Mario, does his little crouch thing he did in Super Mario Legend of the Seven Stars, Pikachu curls up in a little ball, Marth and Roy do their Counterattack Stance except move the sword to defend them from said attack without dealing damage back, Bowser goes into his shell, Luigi copies Mario, Samus...has a power suit which is probably appropriate for her to have the circular shield. Need I explain more characters?

Only thing I see with that is that we wouldn't know how long or how much more we CAN defend after taking attacks.

Actually, I think that the box is an item. Besides if Metaknight went invisible he could still technically get hurt.

Do you think they will bring back the original entrance animations from the N64 version? All the characters entering on those platforms just didn't have the style of seeing Fox jumping out of an Arwing, or Mario jumping out of a Warp Pipe.

And do you think they'll actually make the characters have their own moves rather than being cheap rip-offs of other characters (I'm looking at you Gannondorf!)

I actually happen to like that. It makes the game easy for anyone to pick up and when switching characters but sticking with the movelists, a few alterations make the character balanced (like me playing Gannon).

I'm actually pretty good with him, too. I'm also good with Zelda, and I almost never change to Sheik. In fact, I don't think there's a character I do use that's considered universally a 'great character'.

And I, for one, hope they change Marth around a bit in Brawl. I got sick of people picking him up in SSBM and whipping ass.

Am I the only one who wants to see Sora in this game? Because even though it's a non-Nintendo character, so is Kefka and all of them. Sure, Disney is a nazi with their copyrights, and Square isn't, but still.

Ganondorf is actually a pretty good character. The only problem with him is his heavyness, which makes him a bulletseye for smaller and faster combatants like Young Link.

Wait, what? When did Kefka become a Disney character?

Believe, I would love to see Sora too, but.. well, if I had to choose a KH character for the game, I would choose Axel. There are already too many sword-users in the SSB series, and I would like to see another kind of weapon user for once. Got it memorized?

Actually, putting in move-clones was a good idea. I have a friend who is nothing short of astounding with Ganondorf, but he loses all control when playing as the Cap'n and becomes a punching bag. Even the computer does this. Do a 4-player match (5 or 10 minute Timed) with Marth as a contestant (All of 'em level 9), then do the same with Roy. Note the difference?

I doubt Sora or anyone from KH will be in there. Captain Falcon had his roots more or less in the SNES, and the first Metal Gear game was way back on the NES. All KH has going for it in that regard is a game on the GBA. Some Final Fantasy characters, on the other hand... Kefka or Gilgamesh in SSBB = *Drool*

I like the clones.
But, for those who don't: Remember, they'll probably get the Luigi treatment to become semi-clones.
I do, however think that G'Dorf should get his own moveset. They could compensate for this by giving his old one to Blood Falcon.
