I swear to god, Fifthfiend's post explained perfectly well why I love that son of a bitch. Never before has a forum poster thanked the player. Besides, he showed us this.
Locke, damn, man. I've got a laundry list of why I think you're awesome. Even when we're at odds-ends in discussions (often him putting my foot in my mouth) or battering back and forth about Earthbound, we just kinda seem to agree. I also need to mention how much - in the thread about writing and reader critique - you and I just seemed to be one mind. I'd say something, you'd say something, both of us would go, "Damn. Why's he in my head?" PS: thanks for being a great gay forum lay. Also: I'm rad. Woo! Keepin it fresh! Spacepope - if nothing else, you're at least straightforward (But, speaking of everything else), you've also got that flair for the blunt and the correct, which frequently lands you in trouble, but hey, what's wrong with that? The mods - oh hell, you know who you are, and why. Krylo - I gotta say, nobody's ever put Devil May Cry 3 vs God of War in such perfect context at the same time as they stole words out of my goddamn mouth. I wouldn't normaly rant about the mods like this, but - even though I don't really 'chat' with anyone on the forum through PMs very much, I gotta hand props to him - weather it's dealing rational posts with two-handed doom or just making a simple post, he's one cool guy. Wandering God, Bob the Mercenary, and Archbio - If we've ever been butting heads, I apologize, 'kay? You guys are cool for at least bringing some fun/debate to the Discussion forum, on top of just being pretty together posters all together. Sky Warrior Bob - Damn, man, the only game you and I haven't totally agreed on being fucking awesome was Beyond Good and Evil, and that's because I havent played it yet. Cheers. Kenryuko Maxis - Sure, you were gone for a while, but I distinctly remember a long and thurough DOA thread we got together on. Damn that was a while ago. Neko Tera-san - While we're not quite on the same page about Sora/Riku yaoi, at least we have fun while chatting it up about Square based stuff. Nique - I wish I could cite examples, but I know you're cool. That's all I need. Matticus Prime - New, sure, but hell, you've got some of the most rational, thought-out, mostly neutral, well-expressed posts I've ever seen. ZERO. - Need some work on grammar and spelling, but hell, you make up for it for sheer understanding. Props. The Wizard Who Did It - I don't know many people who actually are as hooked on Ebberon as I am, but here's one. Hell yeah buddy. EDIT: Others I can't name off the top of my head, and the obvious ones I'm refraining from mentioning 'cause of Krylo's challenge. Fill in the blanks. I wish I didn't feel so alienated what with not going to the mIRC 8bit chat and all...but man, chatting is one thing I feel I don't really 'have time' for.

There are alot of people I would like to mention. I was never good at long posts though...
To the roleplaying gang: There was so much I need to thank you for putting up with my crappityness and my whining. Yet somehow, you were patient enough to give me enough chances to prove myself. I didn't feel that I desrved it, but you stuck with me and helped me to hone my skills. I cannot thank you guys enough for that. Here's to all of you. To the mods: Your determination and perserverence to theb society that inhabits this forum is the determining factor in the reasons we are so different from places like Gaia. In all seriousness, this may be the only orderly forums around, which is a testament to your dedication and ability to be moderators. To the comic gang: Thank you for giving me many a laugh in my short time of being here. Also thank you for putting up with my comics. You were quick to give advice and you were very patient with me. To everybody: Thanks for letting me stay in this community.

Awwww, these are all so sweet, you guys! Who woulda thought that somewhere beneath our charred, bitter, and cynical exteriors would lurk such kindness and gratitude? Unless you're all like me, and someone is paying you to be nice to them. I'm kidding!! I'm kidding!!
So many people, so little time. And attention span. Meister- One of the first people to welcome me to the forum. He's always been really friendly, even when I was but a strange newb posting her first sprite comic ever online. So basically, blame Meister for the fact that I'm here and makin' the comics. It's all his fault. Meister was also the first person to make a comic involving yours truly, sparking the awesomeness that was the short-lived Hijacked Comics series and subsequently the sprite-ish doom that was Finding Meister. The Finding Meister Gang: Loyal2NES, Newb, Patrat, Meister, and all you folks who got kidnapped and beat us up during the course of the series. (Including but not limited to: Apathy Man, Silly Kitty, Inbred Chocobo, FenrisWolf, Skyshot, Phil, Mike, Arlia Janet, Demon with a Glass Hand, Shiney, and Dragonsbane) You guys put up with me doing so many horrible things to your sprites, and you all gave me great feedback and encouraged me to keep working. Honestly, no other forum has been as welcoming and encouraging as you guys have been. So some of the blame for my comic-making falls on your shoulders. You should feel ashamed. FenrisWolf and Skyshot- My fellow temporary Admins of the equally short-lived Adventures of Technobum/Finding Meister forums. Our time as fellow Much Beloved Totalitarian Rulers of Benevolent Tyranny was short, but it was sweet. And most of all, it was living proof why we shouldn't be given positions of power. I had a lot of fun hanging out with you guys. It's too bad that we never got around to making that "Triple Trinity" comic we discussed. Phil_- For being friendly to everyone, for making awesome comics and drawings, for including yours truly in said comics, and for sending me a picture of a chibi x-wing for Christmas. XD Raiden- Thanks for putting up with me, even when I threaten to maim you. I always enjoy talking to you. I expect a monetary reward for saying that. DAMN!!! Did I say that out loud? I have to stop doing that!! Krylo- I don't know you very well, what with me not having chat and all, but I really like your writing in the RP board. Your posts in the Avatar RPs are always great. You've got an excellent writing style; you're great with describing action and combat. It's very visual. I always look forward to reading your stuff in the games. And anyone who likes Devil May Cry 3 as much as you do can't be all bad. Damn you and your awesome writing skills!!!!! Heehee. CroTeam: I love the metaphors and other figurative language devices you use to close threads, ban folks, and post. Don't know you very well, but reading your posts almost always makes me crack up. Fifthfiend: You finally admit it. So I guess you're not too bad. And your posts are hilarious. Anything I'd be afraid to say, you say. And that's cool. Garud: You were a worthy Arena opponent. *takes off hat, bows* Your writing has really improved over the short time that I've been here. I'll see you... IN THE REMATCH!!! (Okay, not really. But it sounded good.) Twiddy: It's always fun RPing with you. (even though your characters usually end up unconscious half the time. :p ) I was reading over the Christmas RP the other day, and your writing style has really developed over that short period of time between the Christmas, Posiedon, and Kurosen adventures. Plus, you let my RP character set your RP character on fire. And that's just cool. I KNOW I'm forgetting people; there are so many folks who make me happy to be an NPFer. But like I said. Limited time, limited attention span. So I'll.... Oooh, a doggie!! *runs off*

MC43: You're my sidekick/victim in way to many rps for you not to get a mention. You're always so much fun to plot and scheme with.
Thaum: You've been my compass lately. I'm sorry I've been so untalkative lately. you've helped me get through some rough times. You are a true friend, never a fair weather friend. I know I can count on you to tell me how it is when I need to here it. SK: What can I say. You're an irrepresible ball of energy and enthusiasm. Pixie: If you read this, know that I miss the days when we'd talk all night. You're a good friend. i'm glad things are going so well for you IRL. Flare: My would be murderer. I really enjoy our epic battles in the chat. If you start up War of the Dragons again, let me know. I want to be there for that. DB: You sir are a pervert, but in the endearing kind of way. Mesden: You are probably the most interesting conversationalist I've talked to this year. I'm grateful for our talks and sillyness. Don't ever change. Wolf99x: The man who lets me examine the depths of my insane, twisted sense of humor. How many times have I broken your brain? or made you fall out of the chair laughing. Krylo: Despite killing my longest running RP. You're still a favourite person of mine. I can always count on you for an interesting talk when you're in the talking mood. Batgirl: BEST GM EVAH!!!

After much thought, I decided to do a little hunting! ..For posts I liked!
Mirai Gen - For agreeing with me in the latest 'squidi' thread. And generally being a decent poster. I can't wuite place it either, but you're around quite a bit, and rarely have I seen you do/say anything tremendously stupid ^_-. Much of the opposite, in fact. Osterbaum - Wasn't he once a superhero? I've always enjoyed reading his posts. Also the name. Osterbaum. Just roles off the tounge. ...Osterbaum... Osterbaum... >.> POS Industries - For a riveting conversation in the '11th star trek' film. For the Data love song? Not so much. Urban Spaceman - if you're still around, thanks for being very receptive to new information on a sometimes touchy subject. Cheshire theif - you wrote some neato-keen songs d00d. "Batgirl's' theme being one of my favorites. CT - one of the nicest guys on the forums.

Alright, I know what you're thinking, "Hey, this guy's not a regular! What could he be happy about?" True, I don't RP, I don't IM, I don't visit the chatrooms, and, until now, I had my email and PMs switched off. Nevertheless, these forums have made me happy.
To all my fellow forumers, thank you for accepting me and your courtesy towards me as well. I now realize I'm not so alone in the world. You people are much like me; a 'nerd' in society's eyes, however, unlike the nerds in my hometown, you actually, welcome me, despite my seemingly outrageous opinions on nerd subjects. I now realize it's okay to favor SNES and XBOX games over PS2 games (if only by a small margin), it's okay to like anime-styled games and dislike every other form of anime, and that it's okay to stay true to yourself, and that makes me happy. And also, the mods; thank you for being the best mods I know of. You mods have done something no mods of any other website have accomplished; you have earned my respect. You make these forums a fun, hospitable place to be, and are not afraid to lay down the law should the need arise, yet, at the same time, you are neither too lenient nor too strict. Don't change any of your policies; you're doing a superb job, and that makes me happy. And lastly, a big thank you to Brian, for making the best online comic I've read thus far, and for making this all possible, and that too makes me happy. EDIT: Please disregard the segment wherein I refer to myself as a nerd. As you may know, I'm not really a nerd, just someone who can pass himself off as a nerd very easily . . . . NO I AM NOT IN DENIAL!!!!

Ok, let's see.
Inbred Chocobo: For helping me with my comics recently. Nikose: For helping to convince to start making comics again. Kurosen: 8-bit theater. Need I say more? Most people in the comic thread: For giving me helpful criticism. The Mods: For keeping the peace and other such things. |

Cloud Strife: For being one of the two people who said Happy Birthday to me when it was my birthday, even though I had just started. I think the other was Major_Blood. Or twiddy. Or someone abouts there. Thanks to them, too. |
