Vodka and cachaça, NOT THAT ANY OF YOU BESIDES BELLSOUTH KNOWS WHAT CACHAÇA IS.
( It's fermented sugarcanes. ) Also Caipirinha and Caipiroska, which is a drink either made with cachaça, sugar, water and lemons or...The same thing, but with vodka instead of cachaça. |

Only kidding, guy. Seriously, though? Someone told you wrong, man! Quote:

All in all, it can be enjoyed straight easily, or with a chaser, whichever you prefer. Hmm... some of the apple-pie posts make me wonder if a Blackberry Pie concoction can be crafted....

Jokes at my expense are fine as long as they don't suck. :)
Yeah, I guess, if somehow the name of a bourbon was actually a euphemism or you're in middle school.

But I digress... back to the subject at hand! For some reason, I'm in the mood for a couple of shots of SoCo in Egg Nog... horribly out of season, but I want some anyway....

I mean, I did add a smiley when responding to him. And there're my subjects.
You're not very good at this, are you?
Also, eggnog? Hmm, that intrigues me. What's it taste like / is there a comparable drink or type (the mixing of the two, not Eggnog itself)? I mean, ostensibly it's just eggnog and SoCo, but do any other tastes somehow come in?

It's kinda become a family tradition since then. Nothing you can compare it to, really, just don't let it sit long. The mixture only has a slightly longer shelf-life than a cement mixer (read: 3 minutes). Tastes much better though.

I'll hopefully remember to try that once eggnog and candy canes become easier to get again.
Also, a little over a week ago I was "dared" (I typically do not shy away from drink dares, within reason) to mix Captain Morgan private stock with orange soda. Everyone felt it would taste horrible. It honestly tasted good. Not a very inventive or interesting drink, of course, but you may or may not want to taint your private stock and give it a shot.
