Okay, I was wrong. Each of his zanpakutou has a different shikai. One does blades of wind, the other is this one. He STILL has his bankai left. Possibly TWO.

So far he showed 3 skills: He can kill you by stepping in your shadow. He can kill you by staying at Higher ground than you, and he can be invincible by shouting certain colors at the right time.... while killing you with the same move.

I honestly think now that the Bleach Captains could actually beat the Cast of Dragonball Z.....

He also hasn't used the shikai together yet. That's the logical next step. Then Bankai. Then the other. Then the combo breaker double bankai.

That is until Goku does a fusion with Vegeta and they go Super Saiyan 50.

As awesome as all of this, I'm having a hard time figuring out how oldguy Captain gave the bromantic duo troubles. I mean, one can shoot all his fire back at him and the other can defy the laws of reality. I know the old dog is a tough customer but burning everything in the universe to ash doesn't matter when Shunsui changes the laws of the universe.

Anyhow, if his Bankai isn't in the form of a stuffed tiger, I will be very disappointed.

Its probably a matter of shear unadulterated power combined with about a million years of combat experience. The fire pretty much wipes out shadows, old guy captain seems to prefer fighting topless putting a dent in the color thing, I don't seem him having much trouble reducing high ground to ash and leveling the field as it where, and while fire isn't material I don't think it counts as a reflectable energy attack (Although there is probably more to that Zanpakuto than just that). Combine all that with vastly superior experience, a nigh infinite well of spiritual energy (by comparison), and the ability to flash vaporize them and its not hard to imagine a victory. That and he was totally their teacher and so probably knows absolutely almost everything about how they fight which is a problem because they both seem to rely to some degree on surprise and ignorance.

edit: and also oldguy Captain is just that badass.

I got the dual impression that his zanpakuto is limited to well established Japanese children's games (or slight variations there of) and is completely bound by those rules and that is really doesn't give a shit about his actual well being and if he loses he loses and that's that. At the very least he seemed to indicate when first using the power that the games themselves were fair as a condition on the power and his zanpakuto really didn't care either way who wins. That being one of the reasons he really didn't like using those powers in the first place.
