I think the trick to playing this character is to make sure all your wizard spells are buffs and utility.
And also to take a ranged weapon and pray that your party members can kill everything for your laughably hobbled character. Also if you wear leather you're going to have a bit over a 1 in 10 chance of flubbing every arcane spell you cast. Honestly I'm inclined to take pity on you and change my vote (for fighter) to ranger just to spare you from having to run a multiclass that includes serious spellcasting. I'm going to suggest ranger because I've already gone through the (Bad) story mode of this game as a sorcerer and, as 01d said, the Magic Missile spells are seriously all you need. I breezed through the game.

My single most favourite thing about the epic xpac was
the fact that the final boss is the first and only creature you meet that's immune to force damage
. When I realized what was going on I laughed aloud.

If it's a halfling, I'm putting forth "Shortstop McManchild".
Because, seriously, fuck halflings. Never have I had a good experience involving a halfling in my years of DnD. I might be a little bitter. Also, voting for a Neutral Good Sorcerer. Preferably belonging to some variation of the word "Elf". Edit: Er, that is if I'm not late to the voting.
