For liberal definitions of the word "paraphrase", I guess. But yours is, as far as I remember, almost the same except set in the outer superclusters instead of a back yard. I thought it was clever and funny.

Maybe I'll end up jumping in front of a car. Not a suicide attempt, but more of a "seems fun and if I survive it'll be a great story to tell at parties" kind of thing.

Or if I wanted to make the papers, an ironic death would be great. I can see the headline now: Man is Crushed by Jet Engine After Bitching about how he'd Rather Die than Buy an Overpriced Ticket.

Oh I can foresee multiple ways for me to die.

The first, much more likely way for me to die, is now. I go to sleep, and in the middle of the night, my body says 'Fuck it, I can't take it anymore. I wasn't even supposed to work past three years.' And then I die in my sleep due to massive existence failure.

The second, less likely way for me to die, is being overthrown. I have stated multiple times that I am the likely future Overlord of America. I even have a Plan to place me in that position in motion right now. I also know that attempting such a feat will likely garner attention from rivals, rebels, assassins, etc. So I know my chances of being killed go up if I actually succeed.

But in either case, I plan to bitch-slap Death in a Pokemon battle to win my rights to life back.

My cancer will come out of remission, this time it won't die down. My bone marrow turns against me and I die. I always fear it will be sooner than I think. Though I never set an age, it's always 4 years away in my mind. When I entered high school I figured I'd kick the bucket before uni. Now, I think I might go through my first year as a teacher before the white tunnel comes.
