With the original plan put on a train, there was no choice but to clear the subway, if not to be able to proceed, than cause it had to be done anyway.
"Protect!" Rakald announced the move he used, and rushed behind the Dragon Pokémons his teammate sent to attack. As a standard procedure, he intended to use a False Swipe next. |

Matthias nodded, suddenly remembering there was a Rampardos that they had completely ignored in their planning. Which could be more then a little troublesome if it decided Matthias looked like a good punching bag. Still it was too late now. It it happened he'd have to improvise.
He exited, not bothering to crouch down simply because it'd look really stupid with his wings. They'd see him regardless if he was crouching or standing so he may as well stand. He looked towards the entrance and eyed up the competition, gauging what little he could from this distance and from their stances. Watch yourselves you two. This could go south real quick if we slip up. With that he stepped away from the van, and started fluttering his wings, leaving a small cloud of dust in his wake. |

Impact gave a curt nod, already aiming the HL launcher as he ran past the defensive line of police vehicles. Garchomp... Dragon/Ground type, of course... If I had the time, I'd just freeze it over, but alas, I do not... so how about those fins?
The HL launcher had various pressure and dispersion settings. Since he'd be firing at long range, Impact put pressure to max and dispersion to min, sighted along the barrel, fired off a jet of tracer (colored water stored in a separate tank that'd mimic the flight path of the Hydrogen once it was flying. He dropped into a crouch and fired off 6 one-second bursts, two at each of the skin flaps on its arms and two at its torso. Gotta lower the body temperature... can't encase it in ice, so just hit it where it'll cool it down fastest... Thank you, non-functional wings, for providing me with the surface area I need... The battle had begun. |

Pierce was highly discomforted by Rayleen's invasion of his personal space as she showed him how to access the schematics on his scouter. Coulda just told me... Nevertheless, he shrugged and said "Thank you." He fiddled around with it for a while, looking at where the vault and the hallway were in relation to the roof, and committed the plans to memory. With Renny's Magnezone, he couldn't rely on his scouter working up there.
He rolled his eyes when Rayleen undressed in front of everyone. With the slightest smile, Pierce mused on the fact that his team was rather dysfunctional. Everyone was either a loner, an asshole, a psychopath, a hyperactive rat Pokebrid, or was oblivious to the concept of personal space. Still, they would work well enough. When they arrived at the bank, Pierce got off the van and looked up. The trainers on the roof were nowhere to be seen, but Gliscor and Yanmega were. Impact suggested flying, but Pierce thought that if they were seen, they would be sitting ducks, and since Skarmory was his only pokemon that could fly, then Evangeleen could make short work of him. If they used the ladder that Dormond mentioned, that ought to take long enough that Garus and Evangeleen would stop watching their backs and focus all of their attention on Impact's team, he figured. If the ladder was guarded, it could only be a plus. He thought about letting Renny do whatever he wanted, but however annoying he was, he was his partner for the mission. "I'm going up the ladder" is all he said. Once Impact engaged the enemies out front, Pierce moved slowly, deliberately and unsuspiciously around the perimeter, then headed for the side of the building.

"Thank you Dormond."
Renny nudged Impact lightly reminding him who is the trainer. (This before the battle start) "I'm not flying there when they are using two types that devastate it and two flying types ready to intercept me. My intended pokemons both got other ways up there. Plus, there is no sure way to know if they are both of them are on the same side of the building for an ambush. Like I said, we'll do our part as best as we're able so you can do your part to your fullest potential. I wish you success." He then turned to Pierce before he left. "I dunno about you, but I'm getting up there pokemon already drawn for conflict. Magnezone can and will use Magnet Rise to cling to the building magnetically and levitate while Swampert can use Rock Climb to scale the walls while carrying me. I'm expecting they'll have either destroyed the ladder, be watching it up there or the fire type is guarding it if it's near the back. I'll scale a wall with no visible way up which they probably won't be guarding as much or at all." Renny started to make his move, keeping out of sight as much as he can from the rooftop and the rogue pokemon from the sky, approaching from one of the sides which doesn't lead to the back entrance or a ladder. Pulling out two pokeballs, he silently summoned them from their location. He leaned ever so closely to them whispering his wish. Then turned to anyone who had followed him from the squad as back up, whispering too. "Are you ready?"(Ignore this if no one else is with him) Renny wrapped his arms and his relatively small frame around Swampert's neck as he prepared to scale the wall, while the magnet pokemon focused his magnet pulling ability on the steel support inside the building, so it could levitate along the wall up there as well as start combat with it active. Mike's Charizard came down hard on the unprepared Salamence. With a pained roar, Salamence managed to throw Charizard off of him and flew away, turning to face the Charizard and Dragonite. Salamence's Intimidate ability kicked in, lowering Charizard and Dragonite's attack power. Fortunately, Salamence was still exhausted from using the Hyper Beam, and all he could do was stare down Mike's Pokémon for now.
Heatran shuddered violently as the massive wave of water blasted it dead on. Still, it was a legendary, and withstood the assault like legendary types are reputed to. Heatran recovered much faster than Salamence did and struck Dragonite with Stone Edge, a powerful rock type move that hurt Dragonite badly. That the Dragonite was able to remain airborne after such a fierce strike was a testimate to its power. Had that been a critical, the Dragonite would be in the red. Mike's scouter was close enough to the enemy Pokémon that it picked up more extensive data: Salamence (Pseudo-Legendary Dragon/Flying Type) (Male) Moves: Hyper Beam / Dragon Claw / Zen Headbutt / Crunch HM Moves: Cut / Fly / Strength / Defog / Rock Smash Ability: Intimidate Heatran (Legendary Fire/Steel Type) (Female) Moves: Magma Storm / Stone Edge / Earth Power / Iron Head HM Moves: Strength / Rock Smash / Rock Climb Ability: Flash Fire Rayleen smiled. "My scouter can't pick up the Golem. It may have been weakened severely and blew itself up. Or maybe it's dead or out of range." Still, she cursed herself for bringing along the Titanic Fist. It'd work wonders on the Heatran, but using it could cause major damage to an already unsafe tunnel. So, she tried her other option and blasted the Salamence full on in the face with the LH Launcher. The Salamence was rocked back on his hind legs by the chilling power. "That almost has him," Rayleen reported. "Won't be long until we have Heatran by himself." ----- It was at that time that Impact suddenly discovered just how awesome he was with that LH Launcher. Garchomp was knocked back by the weakening ice blasts, frozen against the bank wall. Garchomp looked pissed, and started to struggle in order to get free. Impact didn't have time to enjoy his little victory for long. Shannon and Moon sighted Impact. "Hey, you bastard, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Shannon demanded. Moon was already working on dealing with the sudden interruption. "Crawdaunt, own this punk." Shannon recovered from the shock and dug into her bag. "Abomasnow, it's all you, baby!" Impact's scouter picked up all the intel he and his allies would need. Garchomp (Pseudo-Legendary Dragon/Ground Type) (Female) Moves: Dragon Rush / Earthquake / Giga Impact / Fire Blast HM Moves: Cut / Surf / Strength / Whirlpool / Rock Smash / Rock Climb Ability: Sand Veil Rampardos (Rock Type) (Female) Moves: Head Smash / Focus Blast / Swords Dance / Dragon Pulse HM Moves: Cut / Surf / Strength / Whirlpool / Rock Smash / Rock Climb Ability: Mold Breaker Crawdaunt (Water/Dark Type) (Male) Moves: Guillotine / Crabhammer / Swords Dance / Blizzard HM Moves: Cut / Surf / Strength / Whirlpool / Rock Smash / Waterfall Ability: Shell Armor Abomasnow (Grass/Ice Type) (Female) Moves: Sheer Cold / Blizzard / Wood Hammer / Mist HM Moves: Strength / Rock Smash / Rock Climb Ability: Snow Warning And speaking of the Ability Snow Warning, it was already in affect. Hail began to fall and the temperature dropped dramatically, which made things even worse for Garchomp. "Be very careful!" Rachel called over the scouters. "Crawdaunt's Guillotine and Abomasnow's Sheer Cold are both instant kill attacks if they get a hold of you or your Pokémon. Fortunately, if a Slayer has the right armor and a Pokébrid has engaged its Paradigm Shift, then they're immune. Also, the number of allies with Impact will determine how many Pokémon actually fight. It's kinda difficult for four different Pokémon to attack one person, isn't it? They'd just fall all over each other." No action from the roof yet, though the light hailstorm indicated that they knew the main entrance trainers were under attack. Last edited by Astral Harmony; 02-17-2010 at 02:37 PM. |

"Bah.." Renny had decided to climb up the side of the building less likely to be guarded. Pierce wanted to take 'em head on, but... if the fire trainer was keeping an eye on the ladder, well, Isaac had already chosen to take him on, and Isaac was nowhere to be around, so Pierce couldn't wait. And there was the fact that the ladder was a rather unsafe tactical position. The best course of action would be to follow Renny, even if it wouldn't be quite as fun. Still, he was part of a team, so he had to do what was best for the team. "Fine..."
He followed Renny around to the other side of the building sprinting a bit to catch up. He saw Renny there, and released Tyranitar and Blaziken from the pokeballs. "We're going to be using Rock Climb to scale this building. Tyranitar, you'll carry me." He told his Pokemon. "Are you ready?" Renny asked. Pierce didn't say anything, but just wrapped his arms around Tyranitar's neck, as he and Blaziken began to scale the building.

Swampert and Magnezone both scaled the wall alongside Pierce, Renny holding on tight to the large water pokemon. As he got closer to the top, he whispered to Swampert's ear.
"There are two flying type pokemon that might interfere with us. One is a ground type in addition, so Magnezone won't be able to help out easily. Ice Beam should do the trick on both of them but especially the Gliscor. You'll do just fine." He patted the pokemon on the back as he looked upward. As he would reach the top, Renny resolved to jump right off, sweep the roof for the electric trainer and ultimately remove her ability to assist the front. Charlotte was following right behind Impact out of the truck as he began the attack on the front of the bank. She was initially going to send out Pike to handle the Crawdaunt, but then she saw the Abomasnow. That thing was grass and ice, thats a double weakness towards a fire type, and she would love to see it burn. Although, sending out Buck or Sol-leks would leave her open to an attack from the Crawdaunt and the Rampardos, and pike is only weak to the Rampardos. She may be vicious, but she isn't stupid about it.
Somewhat reluctantly, she decided to take down the Crawdaunt. Bug-boy could hopefully handle the Abomasnow, being poison and having a slight advantage over the grass nature of the thing. Although, the bug half of him was in danger, but that was his problem, not hers. Mournfully, she lifted the pokeball and rolled it out in front of her, the Manetric materializing from where it stopped. "Pike, make sure that the shrimp never walks properly again," she said, with rising anger in her voice. Pike picked up on his master's distaste with the enemy pokemon. Pike was rather neutral towards Charlote emotionally, but he knew that it was in his best interest to make sure that he took down his foe quickly and efficiently. "Discharge," Charlotte said, almost in a whisper, to the dog. Immediately the manetric released an explosion of electricity from its body, a different bolt from the discharge sending itself at all the different opponent's pokemon scattered around the field. |

Isaac sat silent on the van trip over to the bank, he had no need to talk to anyone. Plus they did enough talking for him anyway. When they arrived at the bank he put on the scouter and immediately felt the impulse of saying some phrase he never heard before, but somehow was able to resist it. Pierce and Renny had decided to climb up the building using rock climb in-favor of using the ladder in case Bretton was guarding near it. As Isaac ran passed Renny he wondered how well the kid would do on the roof. Bah no use worrying about anyone else now. As he rounded the corner he had hoped to see Bretton somehow alone, even though a Dusknoir did not scare him it would slow him down and he had hoped to face it after defeating the fire trainer.
