I would accept that if he didn't put a disclaimer at the front being all like "realism!". Realism does not equal grim and gritty.

Also this epissod ewas still completely pointless. All I learnt is that the protecter of earthrealm can be taken out by a dart gun and some drugs. Good thing that the god of thunder has human anatomy!

I'm incredibly disappointed that there wasn't even something about electroconvulsive therapy in the whole thing.

e: I'm reading on Wikipedia right now that Walter Freeman, the inventor of transorbital lobotomy, even suggested using exactly that in place of anesthesia I mean come on

New episode is out. Scorpion is like the dumbest shit ever. Also I can't shake the feeling that feudal japan had only about 6 dudes in it.
I'm also eagerly waiting to see what name they give Sub-Zero cause that name doesn't really fly in feudal japan. I suggest Freezing Wind of the North

More of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Really, back stories aside, does anyone play Scorpion over Sub-Zero? My older brothers and I would always go for SZ when we had the SNES version, because the freezing move was all we knew Oh hey, Quan Chi.

Also, CG differences.

Alright, the last episode (Cyrax and Sektor) will be debuting during ComiCon

There's a second season, which means we get to see Nightwolf and Kenshi among the ones we didn't get to see the first time around.

There's some crazy good stuff coming out and this reimagining isn't too bad.
