Wait, I just remembered that the age-aura was used to eliminate a magic barrier and bazooka shot before they reached him. So, ranged attacks doesn't help, provided said attacks have a finite duration.

Couldn't he regenerate too? Been awhile but after they finally managed to hurt him didn't he just heal up like it was nothing? Even if the aura go boom worked, wouldn't he just reform?

Aren't we also forgetting that he will be counter attacking with a "you die" power

his aura is rot/decay/entropy, the reverse of that would be health, life, power, ect. I dont see how that would help.

Besides doesn't his distance poke of death work by touching the aura still? The aura that kills what it touches?

It doesn't kill instantly, no. If we learned anything from the incident with Soi Fon, it decays slowly and only takes a single touch and no further contact with the aura before it works its way to the body. Nothing that wasn't solved by cutting off the limb that got 'infected'.

I worked backwards, so now your first statement. If that were true, then after the decay starts, thrust your limb into the reversed energy field. It would probably have a regeneration effect. Then with the energy he'd get from being inside the aura, he could just assault Baraggan head on. If you think about the reverse properties of the aura, it would give them both never ending reserves of energy to duke it out, none being wounded more then a second.

However, I think it's 'reversed' as in 'turned back in on it's owner.' So, he doesn't give it anymore then a 'tap' and Baraggan turns to dust in a few seconds.

Turns out that the rot is infectious, so they threw that aforementioned severed arm down his throat, and he rotted from the inside out.

depends on how you "reverse" it. If its a complete inversion then not only is it an eternal regeneration field, but also turned inward instead of outward.
