Looks like I'm going to start playing Pathfinder again soon! As a player! And it'll be on Roll20. I didn't care for that site when it first launched, but they've done a fine job polishing it up. Getting friends to meet up these days is also close to requiring weaponry, so meeting at a virtual tabletop is making this possible. Yay!

I'm thinking of rolling a fighter/rogue and trying my first Evil character. Probably Lawful Evil. Mostly law-abiding chap, power-hungry, with a secret serial killing nightlife.

Speaking of Pathfinder, I need a second opinion on something.Okay, I'm in a Pathfinder game and I'm playing a psion. It's a level 5 game. I have some pretty awesome stats to work with: Str 16, Dex 16, Con 10, Int 21, Wis 14, Cha 10. Everyone's characters has a special ability that we can make up. I've currently narrowed ideas down to 2 and they both scale with HD:
1. Something akin to Fire Bending. I can summon fire to use in melee or use as a ranged attack(both use PP). Another thing is being able to 'stick' foes with small fireballs and can delay exploding them up to rounds/level. Another ability is being able to 'cook off'(explode) static fire sources like torches, lanterns and campfires, with further improvements like more fire damage for the first part of the ability and cooking off larger fire sources. I think the ability to see through light sources was another part of it, but the GM might have cut that out when they gave me the choices.

2. The other one was using monk unarmed that scaled with HD as if it was the class, along with initiative bonus every damage die upgrade, as well as the ability to change damage type(pierce, blunt, slash) and a boost to movement speed. The fluff attached sounds pretty nice.

I'm not the GM so I don't really choose the resources, I think he's set on Roll20 but I'll refer those other resources to him.

And it looks like my Lawful Evil double life good chap/serial killer is going to be a Skill Monkey Rogue, so we'll see how that goes. I decided that although it'd be good to be great in combat, leading that double life will be better benefited by having a wide array of really good skills.
