EDIT (fixed a typo)
OOC: The accadamy exists on the moons of Yavin IV. The nearest star is the Dagoba System. You are about half way between Tatooine and Coresant. The furthest explored system from you at the moment is Hoth.

"So Ghisa, exactly who do go to for your implant fixes and upgrades?" Raven was recieving a few electric aftershocks from both of his implats dieing on him. "I need to get fixed now." Wint should've been waking up by now. The explosion didn't rock the ship THAT much. And Raven had a hunch they were going to need everyone up and able very soon, he just couldn't tell when.

ooc: Do you mean Hoth? Or is Hath a planet I never heard of?
http://www.theforce.net/swtc/Pix/boo...els/vpmap1.jpg That link is to the galaxy map in the New Jedi Order books. If we're in the Yavin system, we're nowhere near Dagobah. Unless we're not in Yavin anymore. I'm a bit confused as to our shuttle's location. Also, I'm going to be out of the country until the 17th, as I mentioned in the discussion/sign-up topic.

OOC: I didn't have the lugsury of a star map, but I guess we can use your's instead of the one I had cooked up.
We need a discussion thread. I'll start it tomorrow if nobody beats me to it.

Varos continued to moniter the systems to let Ghista pilot without worries. Yet, Varos still seemed a little distracted. That ship was headed straight to the academy... He thought, My friends could be in danger... but no, tons of Jedi, they can fend for themselves... still...
'Who cares if we are in danger? Have a little faith in us, dude.' he heard. "Dan?!?" Varos asked aloud, everyone stared at him in curiosity. 'Relax, man, I guess you've never heard of chatting over the force. Anyway, we can handle ourselves. And if something is powerful enough to take every one of us out, you certainly couldn't stop it.' "Sorry, lost in thought. We should probably get ready for hyperspace departure, whatever that Y-Wing came across is probably headed this way, and I don't think we wanna have a stand-off against it."

Consaulting the navicomputer, Ghitsa said "Let's see....Corillia's fairly close by, and I know of a station that can fix us up fairly good. The core should hold to there, at least."

'Wint woke up a short while before Varos had his conversation but just sat quietly and watched him as he said the name of someone, possibly a friend, Wint knew a force conversation when he saw one, he had kept contact with his former master that way'

Time... time was theonly thing that pondered the mind of Jaze anymore. For now, nothing else really mattered but time, he fought with time. Not a physical battle, but a questioning battle. Does time truly exist? For if the Force was truly in tune with all things, then Time would become inconsequential. Jaze was a Jedi now, does not need to ponder such things, but why does he?
Quickly he clears his thoughts of such trivial matters and stands up onto the floor his own ship. Now sitting in his quarter's that had been made especially for him by the academy. He had graduated a bit before the rest, since his ship landed, he applied, and graduated within a week, which had become a surprise to Luke Skywalker himself. Luke disbanded him after he realized there was nothing for him to learn from the acadamy, that he hadn't already learned from Master Iriston, he set Jaze up with a ship, and sent him on his way. Now Jaze intends to land with his young, still padawan, friend, Geurig. Geurig has always been a friend to Jaze since his arrival at the acadamy, and when he learned that Jaze was to leave the acadamy early, he insisted that he go with him. Most of the Master's at the acadamy, surprisingly, did not have a problem with that as long as he stayed with Jaze. Jaze was shocked to learn that the acadamy would let a pupil, go with a low level Jedi like himself. Jaze is no teacher, not yet, he had hoped that one day he would become a Jedi master, like his father, but he knows his time isn't now. Maybe they sent him with me for other reasons... 'Any traces of the dark side?' Jaze searches his thoughts for a moment. 'Not that I can see...' Jaze thought for a moment, 'Perhaps for the experience... yes. He was sent with me to learn directly from experience, which would be way more effective than learning in the confounds of a school. That MUST be it.' Jaze walks over to the Captains Cock Pit and leans his head in, "How much longer till we reach Corillia? I heard you recieved a transmission to land there from another ship." "H-how did you hear that?" Asked the puzzled Pilot, "That was on my HEAD set, you use some sort of mind trick?" Jaze merely smiles, "The Force has many mysteries that have yet to be unlocked by myself, I merely heard it, because you have left your speakers on." The pilot lets out a slight laugh and turns is head back to his duties. "We'll be landing shortly, maybe even within the next 10-15 minutes or so." "Make it so." Jaze then backs out of the cock pit to see his young friend, finally awake from his slumber. "Did you enjoy your rest, Geurig?" Last edited by Jaze; 01-09-2005 at 01:18 PM. |

A New Player Emerges
'I always do. Only I dreamed of a wrecked fighter,' Said the young Jedi, 'I heard Master Luke say that the dreams of a Jedi always have meaning. Like seeing events in other places, or a prophecy of the futue.'
Geurig had only know Master Jaze for a few days, but they had soo many similarities that they had an instant friendship. Both of them were orphaned, both strong in the force, both filled with great hopes for the future, both of them were realizing they would play a major role in the future of The Second Republic, and both realized it would take there strong work ethic to build it. 'In any case I'd like to focus on the present,' Geurig said with a slight twich of the mouth (one of his outstanding personal habbits which meant he already had an idea), 'Master Jaze I know you think its odd that Master Luke would trust you with a padiwan on such short term notice, but I assure you I'm an abel fighter. Not only does the academy need to reinstitute padiwan training, but there swamped with new recruits and your presence relieves some of the stress of teaching the massive new class of young Jedi. Furthermore I think that the Council needs to focus on the updating of the archives. The last entries are midway through the clone wars. To make matters wose most of those aren't even detailed except for the cloners on Kamino and the first few battles of the war.' Besides being the top student for lightsabers for his age. Besides his formidable combat skills Geurig Mero had a personal passion for history as he felt it could lead to allied worlds, and long forgotten anchient technology. Finally Guerig unleashed the idea encased in his smirk. 'Would you care to possibly teach me what you know about lightsabers? I know your a Jedi Master, but I havent seen your skill personally and it would be an honor.'

Jaze lets a small smile come to his face, "I am no master yet, nor will I be for a long time. I am but a new born Jedi Knight, and I'm not a teacher towards you, however I shall teach you what I know." Jaze takes a few steps forward, "Now, I'm not one who enforces the Saber as much as others might, I believe mostly in peace to settle a conflict, and the main hope for a Jedi, is to not HAVE to use this instrument." as he say the last word he calls upon his saber with the Force from his inside pocket.
"However, there are times when one such Jedi might have the need to defend themselves, or other's. There are still signs of Sith in the Galaxy, some of which even Master Luke has not heard of. If the Light side is here in the galaxy, there will be an equilivant to the dark side as well. My Master once told me, 'there must always be balance to the force, or all is lost.' The Jedi were once plentifull, and the light side of the force shifted so high, that their fall was great when Darth Vader started to hunt the Jedi down with aid of the Empire, and kill almost all. The Dark side rose to be supreme all over the Galaxy. The era of the Galactic Empire some may call it. Then Master Luke came and well... you know the rest." Jaze realized that he had just gone off topic. "I apologize, you asked me about the saber, the Lightsaber is the tool of the Jedi. Light, swift, and amongst the most dangerous weapons in the galaxy. There are many forms that one might use, such as ones where you are to hold off many enemies... or some to fight another Sith armed with the powers of the Dark Side. I would normally show you them, but as for the moment, our ship will be landing in a few short moments, is there anything else you wish to ask of me young Padawan?" |
