The Prisoners of Time Chapter 1: Awakening

When Alex opens the door he sees a Michael looking at the numbers on the doors. He doesn't know if this man is friend or foe but he looks just as lost as he is and doesn't appear dangerous.

Michael is wandering around the room when a door opens on the wall he came form and a Alex pokes his head in.

The door Dan opens appears to lead to the same room he came from. It's completely empty and seems no diffrent except for the one less door on the bottom. The numbers seen the ones listed below for people one room in.

Assuming that Alex wishes to enter this room and talk to this man here is a recap: (the first set of numbers is the wall leading futher in and the second is the wall leading back from where you came)

Alex, Thomas, Ash, and Michael have numbers:
14-13, 133-11, 595-9, 1541-7, 2476-5, 2377-3, 925-1, 1585-2, 1981-4, 1321-6, 569-8, 121-10, 13-12.

and:

Everyone that moved one room in has:

Ooc: it's a good thing your confused becaused I screwed up and I'm going to fix it now. All I did was screw up the numbers above the doors you couldn't get to so nothing is wrong at the moment.

He turned to the other man and extended his hand. "Oh, I'm John, by the way. What is your name?"

Ashvin took the strange man's hand. "I'm Ashvin, and I have no idea what the hell you were talking about. Still, it sounds like you're on to something, so what say we stick together or something?"

Ashvin looked around the room. The saying plus ca change, plus ca meme chose came to mind, even though it was technically inaccurate and probably ungrammatical too.

"Didn't bloody come to the States for this..."

John smiled. "Why not? It's better than wandering around here alone. After all, who knows how big this place is?"

He looked around. "The first thing to do is to check the next set of doors. You check those on the left, I'll check from the right... If you see anything of interest through them, give me a shout... Oh, and be careful. We might find that whoever brought us here without our knowledge has no compunctions about placing traps too..."

Thomas placed his new cat on his shoulder and let it rest there. He then picked up the battery he had used to trick the cat out and readied it to be thrown in a new room. He walked up to the door 121-10 and opened the door. He then tossed the battery in to check for any traps.

"Damnit, what the hell did I drink?" Henry said to himself as he started to come too. He had no idea what had happened. The last thing he could remember was going to his car. "Well it doesn't matter now." He takes a good look at his surroundings and then at the numbers. "A number game? Didn't I see this in an Anime show before?" He says to himself as he opens door number 3277-9 and peers in.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me starting so late.

walking into the new room, Dan decided to open a new door, so he picked 2003 because it was the closest to the current year. He looked in the new door.

Assuming that Ashvin agrees and looks through the first door on the left, which is numbered 14-13, he sees Alex talking to Michael whou is sitting in the room starring at the numbers. John sees nothing through his door and so I assume he's going to go investigate with Ashvin. (If not just tell me you wish to keep opening doors instead of talking to the new people.)

Thomas finds the door locked from the other side. At the very least he can't find a lock on this side or even a keyhole. The doors on the wall he came from appear to be unlocked however.

Henry finds almost the exact room he left with the doors on the far wall numbered: 14-13, 144-11, 703-9, 2003-7, 3576-5, 3862-3, 1717-1, 3433-2, 5149-4, 4291-6, 2289-8, 781-10, 157-12, 15-14

and the doors on the same wall as the door he is looking through are numbered: 16-15, 196-13, 1156-11, 4096-9, 9556-7, 15016-5, 15016-3, 6436-1, 12871-2, 20021-4, 18019-6, 10921-8, 4551-10, 1261-12, and 211-14.

Other than that the room is completely empty.

Dan opens the door and sees a man open a door on the far side. He looks kind of have crazed and his cloths are all torn. When he spots Dan he grins wickedly and shouts for him to not move. As the man rushes into the room there is a strong gust of wind and he stops in mid stride. He kind of stay suspended there for a second then the front half of his body slides down the perfectly clear glass sheet that just bisected him. His back half stood there held up by the sheet for a few seconds before falling down as well. It was a horrible sight but it saved Dan from the trap and that guy didn't look to friendly either.

ooc: Ok so I lied I still got some nice traps thought up and some NPC wandering around as cannon fodder.

"alright then."

He said, backing away.

He thought for a bit, then reopened the door he had closed, then went back to the door which held the now dead man and opened the door to the right, making sure not to enter even slightly.

"Might as well keep moving. Let's see 157-12 looks like it would be ok." Henry says to himself as he grabs the handle and throws open the door, though he is taking a good look before he walks in.
