The way I read it was that the Green Ranger was originally going to kill Mesden, but because of Dr. Strange's powers he ended up protecting her.

Then Superman went after Mesden, but since the Green Ranger was protecting her, she was safe.

It sounds like (if anything) it's the exact opposite in that Superman originally BG'd Mesden and Green Ranger sent a kill in for Mesden.

Edit: Rygar, say both Mxyzptlk and Rygar backwards.

But Superman is the one that stopped Dr. Strange, and Nikose said not everything that night was reversed. Both Daredevil and Green Ranger had sudden changes in their plans, so that only leaves Superman as the unaffected one (Plus he is the one that stopped the reversing).
