I like Nexus' expression in the second-to-last panel. Nice work.

However, panels two and three, in my opinion, would be better if they weren't separated, due to the bubble layout. Actually, it's just the bubble layout there. It seems like I should read all of Loyal's dialog, the each of Mauve's bubbles. It may have been better to separate Loyal's bubbles into two, and move the "Aww" to the right a little with a longer tail with the point remaining where the current point is.

But, who am I to talk/complain? Maybe last fall...

Rick, amusing way to intoduce the new sprites. :P Forgot my helmet though. *Runs off to grab it*

I left the helmet off deliberately (for now). I'm reserving it for battles. I felt it impedes too much with the facial expressions.

Loyal: I agree, the structure looks a lot better, and the comic is much easier to read. (I agree with phil, though, I think Panels 2 and 3 shoulda been one big panel.) Still, can't help wondering what it woulda looked like in color. I rather thought the color in the first one made the drawings kinda... pop. I do like the ink outlines though. Can't wait for the next one.

Whoo! I come home from vacation and there's a boatload of comic-y goodness!

RZ- Awesome, as always. That's a clever way to introduce everyone's sprite changes!

Loyal- I agree with everyone about panels 2 and 3. But I loved it!! Nexus' expressions are great, especially in the second-to-last panel. Can't wait to see the next episode!

Don't forget to get the scar on the left eye. Right eye is black, left eye is red. If you want some additional photos for research, let me know. I'll be happy to supply you.

Mauve, that is the most badass thing you've ever drawn. I whole-heartedly approve.

On a tangent, what would you guys think about moving the comic threads to Arts and Crafts? Which besides the (I think) logical reasoning behind it, has the added benefit of making it so that your comic posts would count for your post... count...

I agree with Rick in regards to moving the Comic thread to Arts and Crafts, but perhaps not the comment thread. That belongs here.

Additionally, I also approve of Mauve's Artwork. Keep up the good work. I do not approve, however, that it is not a picture of me.

Furthermore, I do not approve that, having made a triumphant return, I am still absent from 90% of the comics being made here at NPF. For shame.

For shame.

You all have my disapproval.
