In the meantime, this thread has basically become this thread except even more off topic. So, till fifth gets around to actually sayin' something with substance in it (could take a while), this thread is over.

I realize I am not Fifth, Fenris, and I also don't mean to abuse the posting-in-a-locked-thread routine (which is something I know I love to do), but this does not warrant a new thread.

I have spent the last hour or two reading this long thread, seeing the PMs from prior to it, and the posts in the moderator section. I made an initial PM reply when I first jumped into the deep end and flailed around to keep my head above water. I made a post in that section about mid-thread, not too long after, still pretty much failing to float but not so confused. Now I've taken a few deep breaths, relaxed, and am hangin' out with my boy Flipper like the water ain't no thing.

This swimming metaphor doing anything for you?

In any case, the gist of what I posted to other mods was that I am and will probably remain upset that Fifth is no longer a mod and admin here. I was surprised at the amount of hate there seemed to be getting flung around, too (some of that seemed out of control). In any case, Fifth, you deserve the thanks and praise you get for your work here, I'd say, so don't forget that. Though man you guys are very zealous about it.

I am also still upset, though not as drastically, that I wasn't around for this. I mean, we all have lives and things to do and vacations happen and all, but like I still feel like I neglected my duties or something. I've decided to use that to fuel my activity here and make sure to step up my explicit presence in the case that anyone has the incorrect impression that shit ain't gonna get done around here or anything equally silly.

I hope we all continue to move forward positively. I hope Fifth continues to post a lot and continues to be amusing, just as Krylo has remained here and continues to be a poster I enjoy reading. I am actually, as melodramatic or out of hand some might describe it, glad for this thread -- at least in the sense that the community publicly discussed/debated/wrote songs/flamed/etc. I hope we can continue to share feedback to one another; and let's be honest - any emotional factors are certainly a sign of interest and stake in the community, which I declare a good thing.

This post is longer than it should be, probably. I should have just posted "Shit, what? Well, I am back now and ready to do more work." I get that since this is closed no one can post to me aside from mods, so please feel free to PM me -- my Inbox is always there.
