I wrote about the end of America for a Facebook post I've drafted once the victory's confirmed, but the reality of the matter is this is far worse, Global Climate Change has won. The health of our planet and the ability for human civilization to continue to prosper on it as the climate changes is lost. Humanity has lost. We'll be guzzling oil until we take our last breaths.

Congratulations, Comey. You've gotten what you wanted. I hope it was worth sacrificing your conscience.

EDIT: It comes down to: Can Hillary gain 70,000 votes on Trump in Wisconsin? Can she make up her deficit in Michigan? And, can she hold Pennsylvania?
If yes to all three, we might somehow survive this.
If no to any of those three, it is over.

The only thing I can really say to this is to beg you not to disengage. The person at fault for Clinton losing is Clinton, and the Democratic establishment. They lost the election when they covered there ears to the amount of anger the electorate has for the establishment, but you and I can still make a difference. You can withdraw, sure, but you could get involved instead. Let's get our asses into gear and make a difference at the grassroots.

Now's not the time to quit.

Jesus, I wanted to just ignore the actual voting and wait for the final result, but I can't look away. I have so many friends online who are going to be directly affected by this. So many of them are panicking or raging at walls, and there's not a thing I can say or do to help them.

I have no interest whatsoever in going up against Trump in any serious capacity because Trump relishes in utterly destroying anyone who dares question anything he says or does. There's no room for an ethical, organic debate. There's no room for negotiations, despite what Trump might think of himself. He just utilizes every weapon in his arsenal to warp the media and the public against you.

Why get involved in that kind of atmosphere? This is an autocrat who's going to consolidate power by any means necessary and he's been given the keys to the White House and he's got the nuclear codes and there isn't any stopping him now.
