I'm roleclaiming right now, vanilla townie, town aligned.

No special mason knowledge, just what I can figure out on my own from what all the rest of you have seen.

I for one would be incredibly surprised if other people, seeing the same things I do, have not come to the same conclusions.

I invite one of our masons to roleclaim and speak for the other masons so that we may see what those able to converse in private have come up with.

I would be incredibly interested to see what their opinions are.

No its not 14 townies versus the collective evil, its 8. One more night matters A LOT.

If things don't go we we are going to kill of a collective 3 out of 8 townies tonight, and that means if we don't get a mafia IMMEDIATLY we lose.

which means in turn that if we waste our turn killing somebody who has a better record than we do then we're doomed.

No it means we have a slightly better chance then we would otherwise Newb.

And really, the roleclaims aren't the best way to assure innocence, so I think after this depending it might be you, skeleton, or neyo that are the mafia in my views.

Technically it's 10. The cult only wins if all of the living people are part of it, the mafia wins if they make up half the population or more. Basically, this means that for the moment the cultists aren't completely against you, they will just protect each other; they still want the mafia dead, as it might take one of them out. So for now the cultists are not the main problem.

My roleclaim was more to say that I am not in the masons than to say I was town aligned.

Anybody can say that they're town aligned at this point, but I'm saying that other people should be able to come up with the same theories that I have, since I have had no extra resources.

And think about it.

We waste our turn killing the vig, that makes it be 4-6
Next turn if we don't get it right we end up 4-4 and lose automatically, since the mafia can simply tie up the vote and win.
Assuming we do get ti right, it ends up 3-5,and if we mess up just once then it's bye bye townies.

We spend our turn trying to go after mafiates, and, assuming we get it wrong, we end up 4-5
we still have one turn, but we have a greater chance to get out of that ditch, since if both the town and the vig get their act together at that point it ends up 2-4, and we're that much closer to winning.

the only way that every turn after this will not put the life of the town on the line is if we get rid of a mafiate now, putting us at either 3-6 or 2-7.

Really, it's vital that we not waste our turn on a minor threat who could turn out to be quite an asset, and in fact has been an asset in the past.

EDIT: And I have been struck by Baron von Simulpost, but my point still stands about the numbers.

We let IHMN survive, and we accidently get a townie and so does he

7-4

Next night

4-4

They win.

That is the worst case scenerio, but with IHMN DECIDING RANDOMLY, it is much more prone to to happen then if he looked at it rationally.

okay, fine, I know I'm not going to convince you guys with logic, since you seem to be immune to it, but here's a proposal.

Choose, right now, kill either me or Neyo, leaving IHMN alone for just one more turn.

Should I prove townie or Neyo prove mafiate, I urge IHMN to follow my list, and the town to follow my list as well.

If you kill Neyo and by some fluke he is townie, I ask IHMN to kill me so that a town day is not wasted arguing about it.

Yes, I did just tell people to kill me if that's what it takes to get people to listen to reason.

No newb you don't understand, we are all listening to reason, and yours isn't any better then ours.

Your logic is flawed thats the problem, we understand and know that there is the possibility that IHMN is the vig, but in either case he needs to be gone. He is almost as dangerous to us now as the mafia is, and thats the problem newb.

Even this latest act, it makes me believe your mafia more, but I am still holding this off till after we see what IHMN is, since he is as much a danger to us.

Why is this not getting through anybody's heads?

IHMN HAS HAD A BETTER KILLING RECORD THAN THE TOWN HAS. WE HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING IF WE VOTE NO LYNCH EVERY TURN THAN WE DO IF WE KILL HIM NOW.

Honestly, kill me or kill Neyo. Choose one, and choose one before we kill IHMN and lose all chance.

EDIT: you know what? I'll just get this started, and leave. If I'm not dead, it's because you've either finally decided to listen to reason or we no longer have any chance of winning. Either way, there would be no point, and if I am dead, then I can't post any longer anyways.
