CJ: Last panel? Priceless. XD So is the bit with you and Flare. I think it's as funny, if not funnier, than the original!
Big Mac: Hehehehehheheh. The many costumes were great. :whee: So was the sprite-work with the mirror; very nice job with that one. Clever! Bluestarultor: Oooooh, the promise of a new series! Nice job.

I am sad that I can't see CJ's comic. Could somebody send it to me or something? EDIT: Nevermind. I hit reload and it came up. Very nice. I, too, planned to do a 500 error comic, though mine would've involved POS and a bike ramp. Glad the joke got done without me.
And Blue, are you planning on starting a long story? If so, I hope you've got a lot of free time and dedication.

And sorry I stole your idea phil! You can do an error comic too if you want. I'm sure it would be funny. ^^ I was just thinking... I made Big Mac look like the lovechild of Ed and Roy in his comic. XD

I threw this one together in the matter of about an hour, and most of it was trying to make a good fade effect for the light. I actually have a few ideas for comics, but nothing in necessary continuity, and a lot of them would require me to make even more sprites than I currently have, which is a lot. For reference, in the real world, I have Jay, who you see in there, his brother, Todd, and his cousins, John and Marie. Popping in and out of the real world from the spirit world, I have Toshi, a Japanese thief who got shuffled over, Tendon, a native of the animal plane, and Troy, who has the ability to go pretty much wherever he wants and has no home plane. And those are just the main characters. After that, I have a couple human spirits, Jay's coworkers, various idiot customers I've had to deal with, our new cat, and a football player to bash around. Plus a few invisible characters/ones that never get shown. Really, most of the comic is about the kids, so the appearance of adults is going to be limited. Plus, I need to either find or make backgrounds for all the places I'm going to use, and with the crappy camera angles Google tends to spit out, and the lack of places I liked the look of, it's looking like I have a lot of rooms to make or maybe photograph around my house and neighborhood. And it's probably easier to make them.

What program does that? I mean, yeah, it has all the battle backgrounds and field tiles, but nothing that would indicate a deli or bedroom for a side-view world, unless there's a tile or background maker.
You did just give me an idea, though. I have a ton of sprites I could probably use from my game tiles. Trees and water and everything. And as a bonus, it wouldn't be too hard to put them on the same level and still look good! Thanks! Sometimes the best advice comes from insight gained rather than directions given.

Just to be clear, you realize that these threads are for comics about and starring other NPFers and not just comics by forum members, right?

EDIT: You better be clear that you realize you owe me a sprite! With a Top Hat, fool!
