Karkat's one interests me much.

What could his blood color be, for one? If Cancer has an associated color, that would completely diffuse Karkat's attempts at anonymity.

He's referring to the fact that Karkat's blood has no location on the hemospectrum. If his sign really did have a color associated, then keeping it secret would be impossible.

I'm more curious as to his ancestor than any other actually.

I know Karkat has red blood. I ain't stupid.

But, how could he maintain his cultivated anonymity if his symbol has an associated color? If previous trolls using the Cancer symbol had red blood, wouldn't that have given him away?

If previous Cancer trolls had any other color, wouldn't that have made the other trolls wonder?

Unless the Cancer trolls have a history of hiding their blood color, I'm not sure how Karkat could have effectively hidden his.
