Oh, and neither does spamming someone's inbox with bad poetry. I will grant that she isn't particularly evil, but then, I never said she was.

Bit: She also specifically tells you repeatedly not to kill anyone other than Chastity in that mission, as well as her friend David and just about everyone else except the targets. She also gets really really upset if you do kill anyone, pressing you about what kind of horrible thing you did.
So yeah, she's a seductive kinda manipulative chick, but she's really really good.

As I said, she's not particularly evil, but she's still willing to hire an assassin to go murder a hunter for her, then steal and destroy some poor guy's manuscript. All of this, I'll remind you, is in defense of a race of literal unholy abominations who are actually bringing about armageddon through their actions. I understand that makes it self-defense, but the fact that she's conflicted over it does not make her "really really good." It makes her slightly less of an asshole than the rest of the vampires.
Anyway, none of that stuff was really what I was referring to originally anyway. I just think she's a sissy fucking Toreador - a matter which I'm only being halfway serious about, so don't get too worked up about it. All of that said; her poetry is just objectively bad.

Granted that the hunter was actively seeking her out and trying to find out if she was a vampire and if she WAS she'd have killed her no matter how nice she was. And seeing how nice she was I'd be surprised if she'd ever actually done something wrong other than suckin' blood to survive. Also if there was a way to survive without killing the hunter (who theoretically is immune to shit like nonlethal dominate/dementation unless you're really good at it, and can't be persuaded or intimidated or seduced) she'd do it. But there isn't. And that guy's manuscript was basically the entire Masquerade and that threatens the extinction of all vampires everywhere and also I believe the very beginning of Gehenna.
Yeah, the poetry is pretty awful. But it's nice to see that somewhere in the WoD there's still people who are good.

To be totally fair, the hunters aren't exactly nice folk, either. I mean most of the Hollywood vampires don't actually kill anyone/do anything bad at all. Unless you count acting.
Yet they still go there to murder them all. They also do some other stuff later on that's insane/not good. I mean, sure, it's self-preservation to kill hunters, but it's also not exactly a bad thing considering most of the hunters in that game are sociopathic killers who refuse to talk anything out with anyone ever, regardless of the size of their humanity score or even whether they're human. Further, having that guy's manuscript stolen and destroyed actually saves his life. If any other vampires had found out about it, he'd have been dead before he hit the ground. I mean, literally, the only interactions you have with her involve her asking you to save lives, even if said saving of lives happens to involve the taking of a lesser number of sociopathic lives.

I don't have a thing for humongous breasts, that also helps.

The thin blood who hangs out at the santa monica pier is hardly a sociopath. And the game hardly goes into detail about what motivates the hunters to kill vampires, so they're not necessarily just assholes. |
