NPF Game (For real folks)

I'd love to be in. Make me throw random lines in Spanish, or be a washed-up bard-in training*, if I am to be an NPC, or an assassin of some sort if I am to be a party member. I do think the random Spanish lines thing would be cool. (Necromantic powers might make more sense with a name like Gorefiend, considering the reference and the avater, so that's cool too.) (Damn, I'm acting like I'm a really cool regular in these forums!) Lines about The Mars Volta would also work for me.

Also, I can work with 16-bit FF style sprites, but I mostly edit existing ones. I can handle anyone's sprites if they want such things as combinations of existing characters, or some such. Also, are we talking about FFIII/VI style sprites, or FFIV/V style. Or, to rephrase, the little ones, or the big ones?

However, I'd much rather write dialog and story, if given a loose template. (The mods used to be nice, now most of them are acting Nazi-like. Take these four forumers and save us all!) Any of these could work. What can I say, words come naturally to my tounge, and even moreso to the tips of my fingers upon the keyboard.

I've also got a sprite sheet. I't s based on FF 6 style. I'll give it to you (or anyone) if you want.

*I'm learning how to play guitar, and, like most of us (I hope) when we first learn to do something, I suck. Balls.

I want to be in this, though modes of transportation seem covered. I could always go for a low level summon, thats always fun.

I'd love to either be a summon or NPC. The NPC shouting random things of stupidity or the summon tossing random objects at the enemies(likes chairs, tables and the such) like a kitchen sink. Whoever and whatever you decide to throw in there, I bet it'll be cool. OR, as a summon kill them with random sayings of stupidity, stupify them to death.

The following sprite sheet is the standard for RPG Maker XP. Is it the same as in RPG Maker 2003? If so, and you're using this style, you've got mine right here. And in the spritesheet thread.



As for lines Melfice would say... One you could let him use is: "This is why you're no good." It's somewhat his trademark line. As well as "Feel my lightning judgement!" Besides that, just use the cliché evil-guy lines.

"Oye! Yo hablo español y tu no! Jajajaja!"

"Voy a matarte! Te voy a matar, hasta que te mueras! Con, con una roca, como, como una piedra."

"Listen to my bard abilities!" (Bad, bad acoustic guitar music plays. If possible with the strings touching the frets creating that bad buzzing sound, or even pauses beween the different cords) "Somos como dos bandidos! Debemos andar juntos. Por el amor de Dios, no me digas que no, deja que 'l amor fluya!" (that's the singing. If possible make anyone reading note that it is out of tune, though that may be asking too much...)

"Oye I intenté to unirme to tu party, pero they dijeron that yo speak demasiado hard para them."

"So, like my english? I will now brag how I learned it young."

"Help me, I'm a n00b at everything! Even at saying funny things!"
