Bloodbending has to happen in the final battle(tm) or at least the the pre-final battle/struggle. You know, just before they look up at Sauron's To-- Ozai's mansion, something goes wrong.

I think it's a really cool little plot thing and I always wondered why waterbenders never bended people. >.>

Edit: Oh also, was I the only person creeped out by Hamma's facial expressions?

honestly I saw the whole things coming a mile away. When i first saw her she just screamed crazy water bender

Yeah, I know. She had all the tell-tale signs of crazyness: wandering around at night looking for teenagers to give tea to, an odd collection of puppets, a locked room containing only chest with a comb in it. It was all there.

but she also looked like a water bender (well water tribe). Think it was the clothing. Cool colors dont exactly blend in well in the fire nation

I'm guessing Katara will end up only using bloodbending to paralyze people, instead of actually making them do stuff for her. And I can only assume the "advanced" form of airbending would end up being sonicbending, or something that'd involve airbending extremely fast. Also, umm... Remember about Aang's comment on the air blade? Y'know, when he's wearing the dragon armor in the weapon/armor shop in Sokka's Master? I was wondering how exactly would it work, I mean, would he have to keep concentrating on keeping the air swirling, thus making the air blade even harder to use ( since Aang has no apparent knowledge of swordsmanship ) or would it be like his air scooter, that apparently works by itself after it is made?

He bends the air into a current and then maintains it. He doesn't have to keep moving his hands to maintain an already made current, unlike Water Benders who have to keep moving to keep the water going.
