How do you see/hear other forumites?

I usually imagine a certain tone of voice for each forumite who posts. There are some people who come across with similar "voices," but their ranges and tones are as diverse as the window of teenage-twentysomethings that frequent this forum. I've actually heard a few voices of forumites on skype and teamspeak, but even then my mind might give that person a different voice than his or her real voice...it's an odd quirk.

If I've seen someone's picture, I sometimes associate the picture with that person, but not always. Sometimes another image comes to mind and just sticks there.

And just out of curiosity, what do you hear and see (other than text) when I post?

LC, I see you as the slightly unbalanced older sister. You know, the one in the corner with the big soft building blocks that speaks with great wisdom, wisdom in riddles that make you go "Aha!" just slightly after the point in time when they're relevant. I don't typically envision most posters on NPF, but a few I can't help but associate pictures with. Mainly those I've seen pictures of.

Krylo will forever be the prettiest girl on NPF.

and Pocheros/Madhatter is and has always been a skinny white chick with glasses.

for some reason Phoenix Flame always has brunette hair when I think about it. And wolf ears.

Rai is pregnant, ha ha. I can't get the image of prego Rai to go away even after the baby was born.

I guess there might be a few more, but I can't think of them anymore. Whatever!

Skyshot: You look like your avatar and your voice has an intellignet, yet disjointed quality perfect for bringing up points.

Rick: Also like your avatar, and you sound like what you'd expect it to sound like, too, with an excited/able quality.

Lady Cygnet: Strangely, you look a lot to me like Rosa from FF4, only with elven ears and with slight other differences. And a veil. Your voice to me has a deep tone of wisdom and an ethereal quality to enforce the image.

FBM: Your current avatar defines you. It also gives you a heavily modified version of the voice I attribute to BM. While his is high, squeaky, and raw from constant yelling, yours is slightly lower, still squeaky, and has a very friendly quality to it in the absence of the rawness.

DFM: Your avatar is the only thing I currently have to go by, as I don't think you had one before that. And if you did, I am very sorry, but that would have been when you were "new" to me after my hiatus. Your voice is the kind that's got that slightly nasal squeaky quality, and suits your oft-cynical tone.

Ugainius: To me, you appear as an older guy than most, say 25 or so, and with brunette hair in a ponytail. Your voice is also older than most other voices around here, but holds a tone well-suited to a mature sense of humor. Essentially, a lot like an older gamer who would be wicked at running a Tri-Stat campaign.

Demitrius: Your voice holds a tongue-in-cheek tone. Your avatar is whatever you happen to have at the moment, as it's usually somehow suitable to you, regardless of what it is.

Even if I was insinuated to being "doing" DFM.

Really, since I'm kind of new here, I'm still getting to know people and what makes them different. When I first got here there were only a few people that really stuck out, those being Fifth, DFM, and CJ.

So, due to my synesthasiea or whatever that's called, I attribute colors to you people sometimes! yay!

Demetrius (I still sound it out in my head as Demeritous for some reason. I gave up reading the name halfway through because I'd already found enough letters to seperate it from anyone else... I do this sometimes ) anyway Demetrius is a mustard yellow color, or else he looks like John Travolta. Yeah, that's it. He definately looks like John Travolta.

CJ always makes me think of a girl-Ed (but not Ed the girl from Cowboy Bebop).

DFM I will always think of as that eye-less smiling avatar he had first, and no matter when I read his posts, I always think of him smirking while I read it.

No, DFM is Edgeworth. Definately. Miles Edgeworth from Phoenix Wright.

Lady Cygnet is the color purple. Otherwise I think of her as some kind of feudal lady with bird decorations adorning her purple dress.

Synk is forever that catgirl he had for an avatar. He's also the one I have the most distinct voice for, which alternates depending on how androgynous his post is. Either it reminds me of Il Palazzo only without a trace of whinyness in his voice, or a punk girl with a deeper voice.

Fifth I still picture as some kind of robot. A hilarious robot that can turn into a death-machine.

Meister is that avatar of which he hasn't changed only it is also wearing some kind of officer's uniform.

And though I think Flare said her hair was short, I picture it medium length.

Wizardcat is still Yugi, thanks to the mole game we're playing. And Doctor Clicky is also Aisha Clan Clan thanks to the mole game we're playing. Same goes for B_Real being the Burger King.
