A steel dagger.

Clothing: Mithril leggings.

Appearance: Dain wears all white, besides the mithril leggings over the front of his pants. His long, blonde hair is tied back so it won’t get in his way. Like most elves, he has a pretty boy face, with blue eyes. His wings are large, eagle wings with pure white feathers.

Bio: Grew up as a kick as fighter in some fighter guild to help protect the revuilding city of Avariel.

Recently, Dain defeated his teacher in combat, therefore exceeding his training. As a prize, Dain was given his master’s sword. Dain refused to take the sword though since it would be a symbol of his role as the guild leader since he didn't want it, but he accepted the role of master knight.

Dain has also aquired his own code of honor, which was mostly made because fighting was losing it's thrill.

1. Never attack an unprepared or downed opponent.
2. Unarmed enemies are not to be attacked. If the enemy fights unarmed, ignore this code.
3. Never attack first.
4. If some one is in help, help them, unless the help is evil. (This is so it is some what like a real codes of honor)

Note that if Dain feels he should or has to, he will break these codes.

Name: Alec Hailar
Species: Human

Element: Earth
Age: 24
Weapons/Equipment: An enchanted steel long sword (Enchanted to keep it's edge because sharpening is a pain. It's also really durable) A steel dagger, two boots knives, and iron-plated knuckles on his gloves. Depending on the circumstance, he might bring a bow. But that's only when he's ambushing something. Also, a jerkin of leather armor.

Clothing: Well, he wears dark grey pants, a brown shirt (And the collar goes up high enough to cover his nose and sit under his ear-lobes), a dark brown jerkin (armor), his gloves, and his coat.
Now, his coat is a marvel. Before going any further, I should mention it's basically a leather trench-coat. Gets to half-way down his shins. Except it doesn't close, and there's buttons on the wrists to make them tight. It's dark green with various spatters of grey and dark brown on it. If it's had the local soil rubbed onto it, Alec can hide in anything (Except snow. And on mountains. And desert. He hates those three) and be damn near invisible while doing it. The only way to be really sure he's there is to actually bump into him. When he starts an excursion however, it's not near as effective as it is near the end, on the grounds that near the end it's been covered and dirtied plenty. Oh, and it has a hood. All in all, Alec could sell it for a very hefty price because of how well all the dye jobs were done (As well as it's amazing durability)

Appearance: Alec is well muscled, and still youth-ish looking. His eyes are a warm shade of blue, and his hair is a very dark brown. It reaches his jaw line, and is typically pushed out of the way instead of being tied back. Many women (And the odd man) would call him good looking, and most of them have wanted to be with him. Then they typically see him after an excursion, when he is generally covered in mud, hasn't had a decent bath in at least a month, and is generally filthy.

Bio: Alec is technically of noble blood. His dad was a fairly wealthy noble. But unlike his brother and sister, Alec couldn't bring himself to really get into the whole noble act. Happilly, his father accepted that and found an old ranger to take on Alec as an apprentice. The old man did, and trained Alec as best he could. Then the old Ranger's son took over when the old man finally croaked, and gave Alec the old man's jacket.

Alec took to it instantly as he's always been more of a jacket person than a cloak person. Following that, he learned as much as he could. Then he got the gift of his sword from that ranger, and started out doing his own ranger work. He kept from making a name for himself, and eventually went to his family's estate.

His parents were overjoyed their son had found a way of life he honestly enjoyed. His sister was a bit jealous, and learned a few fighting tips from him. His brother was outright disgusted and constantly says "To have such pure blood tainted by this commoner way of life is despicable!"

Alec got over his brother's rejection and returned. Though he doesn't know it, Alec is partly responsible for saving the odd little village. This is largely because him and his friends (Other rangers. One a Dwarf, one a human raised in a desert) often ambush the attacking party (Usually orcs) and give them enough of a scare they turn back.

Extra: He's fairly inconspicuous. Also, he's not the best fighter. He's not a master swordsman. He's a very down to earth fighter. No flourishes here. He'll block an attack and just twist his wrist to stab your eye. Once again, he's down to earth. And he fights dirty. He's DEFINITELY not above kicking dirt in your eyes to blind you, or using other under-handed tactics to trip you up and give him an advantage. A common tactic is to block, hold the blade there with his dagger, and then stab the attacker

Obsidian- A powerful black metal which balances impressive cutting power, with a light weight and good durability. Has Great Offense, and Great Defense. Resistance to Lightning, Wind, and Earth, Weak against Fire and Ice. Not Magnetic.

and the broad sword is
Titanium- A heavy and durable substance, Titanium is best used in Metal Plate armour, though it is quite cumbersome when used in a weapon form. Great Defense, moderate Offense. Weak against Lightning, and Earth, resistance to Fire, Ice, wind and Water.
Susceptable to Magnetism.




Clothing: though being a normal person who changes clothes every day john usually dresses to fit in, tatered shirt, baggy pants. but he does put all of his armor in a box that he carries around at all times. he also has a walking cane, but that is for looks
(why do we have some wierd looking thing when we can blend in? You still haven't answered me on this!)

Appearance: an old man, he has a beard and uncombed hair, hase colored eyes (what do you want!) salt and pepper


Bio: in earlier times he was thought of by those who knew him as a man of great potintial, but he was brash and arrogent. now he has studied the arts of ice and is just as arrogent, his youthful vigor has been replaced with aged expieriance. he has come to acheave greatness.

he grew up just as all soilders in times of war do, but he was a class above the rest. his attidute got in the way of promotion, so he became a bandit for a while (btw this is all inprov, I making it up right as I go) and he faced death many times. he finally gave up and retired. now, knowing that his name will not reach the history books he has come back wanting something to join.




Atvantages: underestamated, expeiriance quick with weapons

disantantages: slow moving, will get hurt midbattle from age, more likely to lose as battle gets longer, not great with ice, no respect

High's guy is going to die in the first battle... He's an old man who wears no armor and tries to dual wield two weapons.

Edit - That punch Alec will give him will probably kill him.

Jechir may end up backing him up, however. He grew up with an old man teaching him. Maybe he has a sort of affinity for old people.

Talos thinks old men who can no longer fight should be disposed of. In Drow society, a younger Drow is typically sent to assassinate an older Drow.
