You have absolute right to hurt me in the most painful manner for me reviving this thread. But I must, must say this.

Yes. It seems the Chocobos have been placed into the comic.
And past that, I'm driving myself nuts pondering over when we'll be able to see some spriesheets of the Dark Warriors.

So now you can dump scorching water on me and chuck rocks at my head.

That will happen when I finally can do something with Drizz'l aside from copying Fighter poses. Whenever I even so much as look at the Drizz'l sprite all my enthusiasm for spriting dies. I just don't understand it, but Drizz'l is my spriting nemisis.

Thus, Dark warriors will only be completed when I defeat him. Curse you Drizz'l, curse you!

I neeeeeeeeeeed the Bikke sprite sheet. Because Bikke is cool. and 'specially for 8BTRPG. Can you just post up what you have so far of the sprites...?

Heh, if the DW's do class change ( I'm not even going to count them switching clothes) I'd put my money on either Drider or Trop'kal St'orm for Drizz'l

Vilbert isn't in there. Those vampire sprites were from the actual Vampire boss from FF1.

That's not entirely correct. The vampire sprites in question were patterned after the FF1 Vampire, but Brian instead went with a recolor of the FF3j Scholar to represent FF1's Vampire. I'm hoping Brian might eventually find use for them as zombie minions to Vilbert, but that's a wait N' see sort of thing.

Oh yeah, and despite the fact that I really didn't want to have to show this to you people, apparently you won't be satisfied until I do. Anyway, these are my very experimental sprite sheets for the Dark Warriors. Not everything is necessarily a keeper & there's a bunch of stuff on there that might give you an idea about how I sprite. Also, Vilbert isn't exactly correct as I removed the white pixel from his cheek, because I thought it looked stupid. But since Brian continues to use the white pixel Vilbert, I suspect that's the way it'll stay.
